Six
----------

I stare at the ceiling, turning over onto my side. I am in Seven and I's small section where we sleep and have just woken up to find Seven gone. Hearing Two's inpatient voice from behind the curtain, I sigh and sludge off of my bed blanket. It has been at least two or three days since Seven and I found this small group, and they seem to have let us settle. Two; demanding as ever is sending me on my first "mission". I'm sure of it. This reason is is because she forced me to rest my injury's for a " while".
Seven, however, has been on way more missions already.

I fix my hood before heading out of the small secluded area. I am greeted with Two on the other side. "Oh, you're awake! Finally." Two says, crossing her arms. "So, what's my mission?" I ask, assuming already that that's what she's here for. "Oh, so you were already expecting this? That saves me a lot of trouble then. Anyways, your mission is just to find some food and supplies with One and Five. It should be an easy task since The Janitor isn't a problem now." "Oh, okay. That seems easy enough." I reply, itching to get moving. I haven't left this place since I got here, so I'm eager to get some "fresh" air... If you could call it that. "One and Five are near the entrance. They should be waiting for you. Good luck!" I nod to Two before turning to leave. I walk towards the exit of the hideout I've been stuck in for nearly four days and smile. No more rest! I am actually pretty happy. I meet One and Five at the exit once I'm finally there, and take a glance back with satisfaction. "Oh, hey Six! You're up." Five says, greeting me with a friendly smile. Five is usually nice to me, so in return, I give him a simple hello. "Hi, Six. We're going to go scavenging for food. We're starting to get low, so we're going to need to be successful with this." One says, also greeting me. "I know, Two told me. Let's get this done so we don't starve." I say, following One and Five. As the three of us descend further back into the maw, we decide to head near The Janitor's Lair where he'd hung up dead bodies of children and put them on hooks after being wrapped up in cloth. They all were sent to the kitchen, where they would be cooked into meat for the greedy guest that boarded the ship to feast.

As we walk into the open area, I remember when Seven had almost been sent to a death sentence. I sigh and push the thought of his death into the corner of my mind, reminding myself once again that I still owe him for saving my life with those leeches... I realize that One has stopped walking, so I look over at him. "Alright guys, look for anything useful. Food, blankets; you get the idea. Also, if you run into trouble, yell and we will try to find you." One says, gesturing at both me and Five. Well yelling doesn't get you to safety. I think, rolling my eyes as the three of us split up around the room.

I wander towards the tall desk that looms above my head. I climb on a few boxes before finally making it to the desk; where I find thick, sheets of fabric The Janitor used to wrap children in. They would work great for bandages and bedding, so I go ahead and begin dragging the pieces of cloth towards the edge of the desk, where they fall and land on the floor. As I go back to get more, a familiar pain hits my stomach. I clench my stomach with one hand, and grit my teeth. Why did this have to happen now? I start to walk. Maybe I could try and find some food for myself before One and Five notice... I look up, and my heart drops in my chest. Five is walking over towards me, his expression questionable. "Hey, Six, are you alright? You look in pain..?" I try to hide my frown. "Yeah, don't worry I'm fine-hnngh!" Another shot of pain hits my stomach, forcing me to my knees. "Six! What's wrong? Did you get injured?.... We shouldn't of brought you, we need to tell One.." Five stares at me worriedly, walking over towards me. I clench my teeth again. "No. Don't tell One. He doesn't need to know. I just need food. These are hunger pains- hhgn!-" I clench my stomach again, using both hands. "Hunger pains? How? I've never seen hunger pains so severe..." Five sighs, and glances at me. "If you say so.. But that means you owe me; because this was for the group." I glance up at Five and see him rummaging through a large bag he has set on the floor. I watch as Five pulls out a sausage... Wait, no... It's not Five anymore... It's a gnome.

I look around for a moment, realizing I am no longer in the Janitor's lair. Though, I have been here before.. I'm in a barren room with little furniture, and in front of me stands a small, friendly gnome. It is holding up a sausage. I can feel the blood pump in my ears as I slowly approach the gnome, both of my hands clenched to my stomach. The pain seems almost vicious, as I approach. I know how this ends. I reach out both hands, because I can no longer see what is in front of me. Only darkness. I touch something soft, and realize where I am.

I snap back to reality, and look around. In front of me, is a scared looking Five. No gnome. I have both of my hands gripped harshly on his shoulders. "Five..? Why am I here? What happened?" I sternly ask him, but there is no answer. I grit my teeth because the pain in my stomach hasn't faded. I let go of his shoulders, and step back. I awkwardly eat half of the sausage and put the rest in Five's bag. My blood feels icy, because I know what I was doing. Why did I even ask him? I sigh. Once the pain from my stomach has faded, Five helps me with the rest of the cloth. Though, he doesn't say a word. I have a feeling he no longer trusts me. Five and I carry the stack of cloth over to One once we're finished and off the desk. "Nice work, guys. That cloth will be good for bedding. Did you find any food?" One asks, once we all have met up. "Yes, we did find food. A gnome gave me a half-eaten sausage. That's about it though." Five says, pointing to his bag; which was strapped to his back. So he covered for me... Why? I think to myself, as One holds up a fairly large piece of meat. "I found this in a trap The Janitor set recently before his death. The meat is still pretty fresh, and It doesn't look like the rats got to it." One says. "We should probably get going. We've spent enough time here.. Do you think we found a decent amount of food?" I ask, picking up the cloth once more.

"Yes, we found enough too feed the group. But it won't last long.. Also, good job on your first mission, Six." One say's, giving me a small smile. Wow. One never smiles; he's always busy, and its almost as if he never has the time to smile... Bonus points for me. I nod to One. "Thanks." I reply. Once the three of us has packed up our things; we all make our way back to the other's with the cloth, and food.
