I walk into mine and Oliver's room and see him sitting on his bed playing on his phone he stops though when he notices me walk in "hey are you okay? He didn't do anything right?" He asked with a concerned tone. I looked at him a little confused as to why he would be so concerned but just shook my head "N-no not really..." I lied not wanting him to be even more worried "Okay good... that guy seems like a huge asshole." He said and I nodded "Yeah he is... Hey Oli I know you said you don't care about what others think but you really shouldn't be seen with me... I don't want people to start bullying you too because of it." I said and he shrugged "That's okay. I rather hang out with someone nice like you then jerks." he said "B-but... People may uh get the wrong idea about you though if you are around me..." I said and he looked at me with a raised brow "How so?" He asked and I bit my bottom lip for a few second nervously "They may think y-you're gay and that we're um d-dating... Trent already assumed it earlier b-but if you keep hanging out with me everyone will think that..." I explained with a slight blush at the mention of the thought of us dating. I wish I could date someone like him... he seems perfect. "So? Why is that so bad?" He asked "B-because being gay is one of the worst things you can be... You don't want to branded as that, Oli." I said and he just chuckled some "I'm gay, Elliot. If those assholes want to bully me for something I can't change then whatever. I'll take it because I'm not going to pretend to be something I'm not." He said simply. My eyes widened a bit. He's gay? How could someone like him be gay?? "Also, being gay isn't bad. You've obviously only been around homophobic people but don't let them get to you like that and convince you that being gay is so bad." He said sweetly and stood up and gave me a hug. My legs felt so weak from his touch and I couldn't help but just stand there frozen still shocked by what he said and by the hug... "So stop telling me not to be your friend because I won't do it. Got it?" He asked with a smirk while flicking my nose playfully. I nodded and smiled shyly at him. Wow this feels like I'm in a dream... Fuck I got lucky this year...
