Three: Her Memory

Lisa's last period just ended when somoene grabbed her hand and pulled her outside their lecture room. "Alright, explain." Lisa who was shocked suddenly chuckled as the person who grabbed and pulled her was her fellow group member, Kim Jisoo."About what?" Lisa asked, as she checked her bag if she missed something from her table."you find it weird too right? Being an Elite-class despite being a transfer student." Jisoo who was wandering how the impossible became possible suddenly showed a piece of paper at her.

Lisa looked up at the paper Jisoo was holding as she saw her school registration papers. 'how did she manage to get a hold of that?' is what she thought.

"You were clearly a trainee for just three years in Thailand, then you suddenly transferred here in Korea. I'm a trainee for about four years, longer than you, so the only possible answer would probably be your skills must be better than mine -no- out of this world."

Just when Lisa was about to speak up, a voice came in into the conversation.

"I knew the reason." Kim Jennie who was standing behind them said as she momentarily looked at Jisoo and averted her gaze at Lisa.

[an hour ago]

"so, who's your fellow members?" Suga asked.

"Park Chaeyoung, Kim Jisoo and Lalisa Manoban." Jennie mentioned her members as she noticed the sudden change of suga's face expression.

"Did you say Lalisa Manoban?" Jennie who was confused by suga's reaction made her puzzled to why he asked Lalisa as if he knows her.

"why? Did you know her?" Jennie questioned her senior as if he was hiding something from her. But Suga just shrugged it off as he said "no. But let me tell you, She is one good trainee. She got trained in thailand by a legendary korean artist. It might not show yet, but she will be a powerful member to the four of you" Suga said that made Jennie surprised and frustrated. She already knew that Lalisa will surely overtake her and her nightmare from her dark past will began.

Suga who was worried at Jennie suddenly felt more anxious as he heard that name again. 'Lalisa Manoban'

'she's back, huh.'

"Jennie" Jisoo said as Jennie took a step closer at Lisa.

"You are trained by a Legendary Korean artist, right?" Jennie asked as her stare became more intense that made Lisa back off a little. Jisoo on the other hand gasped as she heard Jennie's unbelievable claim to Lisa.

"Yes." Lisa answered shortly.

"who was it?" Jisoo asked.

But Lisa remained silent for a couple of seconds before answering her question. She clutched her hand and bit the lower part of her lips as she said

"I-I can't remember." She uttered softly.

The practice room was in total silence as the girls were busy doing their own thing at their free time. Rosé who was usually inquisitive breaks the room's silence as she asked Lisa who seems to be not at her usual self. She noticed that Lisa was bothered by something. Same with Jisoo who is usually friendly towards to Lisa and Rosé; and Jennie who seems to be more inconspicuous as she lay on the floor with her earphones on.

[a while ago]

"what do you mean you can't remember?" Jennie asked as she find that excuse odd. Lisa just pressed both of her hands together as she stuttered

"I-I lost my memories when I was in Thailand a year ago. My psychiatrist told me not to look for those memories anymore because that will only bring complications to my health. So up until now I don't have a memory about my past" Lisa explained as the two was shocked by Lisa having an amnesia. "Everything I experienced in Korea was the first memory I ever had" Lisa sadly smiled as tears swelled up around her eyes.

"what's wrong with all of you? How can we progressed if we are all like this?" Rosé complained as Jennie stood up and walked pass the two members and stop infront of Lisa.

"Alright, Let's try this." Jennie said as Lisa slowly looked up at Jennie who seems to offer her hand at Lisa.

Rosé who was new to this got confused by the situation as she asked Jisoo what's going on.

"she'll explain later." Jisoo just smiled as she shrugged and pat Rosé's shoulder.

Lisa who was sitting at the floor, happily smiled as she took Jennie's hand and performed a handshake that depicts Jennie's approval of finally being in a group artist.
