Five: Who are You?

Jennie arrived at their usual hang out coffee place in Seoul. Suga spotted his dongsaeng as she gets out of her car and approach the man who just finished ordering his cup of americano.

"did you wait long?" Jennie asked as she sat in front of her sunbae and ordered her cup of choice.

Suga then started the conversation

"so what's up?" Suga asked as he take a sip from his drink. Jennie was always like this, back then at America she was the only girl he couldn't leave alone. Suga is the type of person who prefers to be alone but then Jennie came into her life. He treated her like a sister he could never have and that's what strengthen their relationship their brother-sister relationship.

"Oppa, Tell me more about Lalisa" Suga paused for a moment before taking a piece of cookie to pair with his drink. 'Why would she ask that all of a sudden' he thought. He might not be surprised by her question just by the fact that they will be with each other for 24/7 but the fact he can't answer her question surprised him the most.

"why? Why would you want to know?" Suga dig deep into her objective as Jennie plays with her cup before gazing up to Suga.

"I want to know what's going on. I want to beat my rival ofcourse" She lied. She knew that there's more than just racing to her. But Suga saw over her mask and just smiled it off.

"we have the same mentor back at Thailand."

[2 years ago]

"Suga, the teacher wants you to gobat the backyard now." a fellow student asked as Suga thanked him before turning off his laptop to leave his room.

"I wonder what's up" he mumbled as he saw a figure dancing at the dance room that caught his attention.

He watched as the girl flex her body perfectly as if she was the depiction of a perfectly composed music. Smooth and elegant.

"very good Lalisa" Their mentor praised the girl as she turned off the music that was playing. "I'll be right back, I just need to meet a student outside" She said as the girl bowed at her.

"oh, you're here Suga?" he was caught by his mentor as he faced her immediately and bowed as a sign of respect.

"let's go?" she said as they walked towards the exit of the building. "Were you watching her?" Suga got surprised as he turned and his face his mentor who seems to have caught his act.

"well yes, I've never seen anyone dance like that." he said as he looked down.

"She's a pure thai. Unlike the rest of you she can't speak korean, only a little bit tho." his mentor said.

That explains why she only used body language to communicate with their mentor. So there are pure thai's who also want to pursue korean music.
'wow. Music really has no boundaries' he thought.

"so she's the only thai there back at your art school?" Jennie asked. "so what happened?"

"that was the moment I met Lalisa Manoban. The rest of this story remains a mystery to me because one day she just dissapeared at art school"

Suga who was walking at thr hallway noticed a group of dancer dancing to the music he composed as their mentor guide them the steps to the tune. But his eyes were not on the dancers, his eyes keeps looking for the same girl he saw at this dance room. But there was no sign of her.

As the lesson ended, the dancers decided to take break and leave the room for the moment leaving their mentor inside the room arranging the papers at her desk. Then, suga enters the room.

"Teacher, where is she?" Suga asked then noticed a dropping out papers. "Who's dropping out?" he asked.

"Lalisa"

"she suddenly drop out without a word?" Jennie asked as Suga nod.

'so Suga oppa don't even know how she managed to lost her memory. But i think it has to do something when Lalisa drop out of that school.' Jennie thought.

Suga noticed Jennie who still seems trouble as Suga asked "Still not enough resources?" he chuckled teasing the young lady.

"no, it's more than enough." Jennie said as she tood up and take her bag. "thank you oppa, I'll see you tomorrow. You'll be our teacher for the whole week in elite-class right?"

"yup. See you there." Suga said as he gave the girl a gentle smile.

'who are you? Lalisa Manoban.' suga thought before deciding to go home either.

"Locate this unknown number?" the shop's staff said confused by the young lady's request.

"yes, can you?" Lisa asked.

"I can, but this will take a week." He explained as he examined the number to where country it was installed. "this number is a foreign number." he said.

"so it was from thailand?" Lisa jolted by the staff's assumption.

"Most probably, Our IT's will be the one incharged in this" he said.

"oh. A week. Can you rush it?" Lisa who can't seem to wait asked to rush her request.

"okay, just come back after 4 days"

'It was better than waiting for a week' she thought. She just nodded at the staff as she gave the downpayment first before leaving the building.

It was the next day as the girls were inside the van driven by their coach. They are on their way to Big hit's company to be able to do their first trial as an elite-class. Rosé who was always hyper and alert was asleep as she couldn't sleep last night talking to Lalisa on their telephone. Jisoo was busy scrolling her instagram, Jennie is with her earphones listening to her music and Lisa who also has the same condition as Rosé tries not to fall asleep because this will be their first ever trial as a group.

Jennie glances over Lisa who tried hard not to fall asleep as she was about to have her head fall out of her body. Jennie chuckled and just continue to listen to her music when their coach announced that they've arrived at the place.

"we're here!"
