I was at the living room listening to fairytales. This women, Miara was a bit too dramatic for this fairytales.

It was not even true.

“..And they finally live happily ever after,” she said. Bullshit.

I didn't even know why the sixteen years old me joined in to listened to this story. I didn't remember any scene of that before. Maybe my life just technically highlighted a scene where I used my power. Because I mostly remembered those.

“Olivia,” Miara said. A thin smile creeped on her lips. People have been telling me that her appearance was scary which was her red lips and her thin smile. But I've witnessed scarier than that so I don't see any creepy things in her.

“Yes, Mia?” I answered. “You've been daydreaming lately, honey. What's wrong?”

“Did I?” I asked again. She frowned. “Yes, dear. Are you sick? I've been told you skipped your medications a lot lately.”

I stared at her blankly. I stood up and kept staring at her. Her thin smile faded. “I don't need those,” I said walking away.

I didn't know how she was not scare with me. But by the way she stared at me back when I did the same, told me enough that she knew what I was thinking and what I was going to do but didn't.

She was something.

She was just like me. She has power but she acted like she didn't and she could feel the one who had it too.

I walked out of the building and had a walk. The old pavement was covered in dirt and grown roots making it hard to see where it was going but I kept walking. Reaching to the abandoned park.

I sat on the swing and hummed a song. The wind blew harder and the cloud became darker like the other day I came to the hut.

I saw a black shadow from the end corner of my eye. I stopped singing and turned to the side.

There was him. The monster, a friend of mine. “What are you doing here?” I asked.

He wrote something on the dirt.

H-U-N-G-R-Y

The font was hard to read but I still could make up the word. “You're hungry?” he nodded slowly. His long black nails was playing with the dirt.

I whispered to him something and his shadow vanished following the wind direction. To the building.

-

It was getting darker and I promised to Miara that I'd be home before 6. It was 9 at night and it was dark. I barely made my way to the building as the pavement wouldn't help as it was sink with dirt and grown roots on it.

I didn't realised the pavement lead me to the hut.

There I saw him. Eating and sucking out a girl's head. Her eyes was opened wide and looked like it was about to pop out of its socket. He saw me and showed me the head.

It was the girl that have been bugging me when I was eating. Saying things like I shouldn't eat or I'd get fat. I nodded at him and pat his head.

Honestly, I couldn't describe how he looked like. He might have head, arms, legs but it doesn't looked humanly. Its shape was weird. So good luck in making it up with your head. Add up blood and blackish in all his body part.
