I've tried thinking positive,
But instead my brain gets stiff
For the only question that will stick,
Is the Haunting question "What if".
What if I had been there?
What if I had tried?
What if I was beside her?
Would I have been strong or cried?
What if I had more to say,
Would I say more than goodbye?
I remember that mournful day,
And it always makes me cry.
Make sure you make the good decision
Or else you'll feel stranded on a cliff,
Your mind will tremble to oblivion,
And you will always wonder "What if".
