Caleb's POV:

Being in a college sure sucks a lot.
Yes, I study in a medical school in the middle of nowhere. When I say that it's literal. This place is almost like a desert. No trees and Mr.Sun smiling so rudely all the time. Not cool. And it's one year before I become an intern. So, you have nothing in your pockets too until then.Sucks, right?

Right now I'm walking in my most favorite place inside the campus. Yup,the terrace of the dormitory I live in.

Lying down flat on my back,  looking at the stars makes the earth stop while I take in all the beauty the night has to give. Just pondering over life, with all its shortcomings and goodness!
Quality time spent with myself? Check ✔.

What's that?  Oh,it's like a disease I have.  I tend to slip away from reality quite often. I was starting to think about the future when..

"Caaaaaleeeebbbb!" I heard Varjok's shrieking voice from below.
I just dismissed it.  Come on,  I need this time alone to rejuvenate myself.

After a silence of few seconds.,

"Ca... Le.. B... *cough*  I need.. You.. *dramatic cough* "

Alright.  He's gonna get it from me.
I rushed down to see that useless guy I call my best friend.
As dummy as he is, he has been my constant companion during the entire college.  I love this one like my own.  Rare find. Varjok David.

I found him on the floor clearly FAKING being in pain. If I didn't know him better, I would have freaked out by now.
Damn. This one can act.

"What is it, varjok?"

"Caleb" He hissed. "Thought I would never see you again.. I don't know how long I ll live to be with you.
This deadly cough is killing me. "
Yes people,he caught a mild flu yesterday. And  I know where he's going.

" So to cherish the rest of my days..hours..Ahem.. *cough* minutes with you,  I just want to ask you one... Aaaaaaahhhhh"

I was chuckling. I kicked him hard on the stomach.
He winced in pain and started to come right at me.

"For the hundredth time, dear god,  I don't want to attend to the special lecture on diabetes.
It's still a no , varjok. Sorry for not granting your death wish."

I heard him curse me under his breath before I walked into my room.

"Nighty night, var"

He's also a class topper when it comes to academics.  Funny how he's my best friend.

I was checking my Facebook feed where I found a post from this girl, Dominos. She's in my college.  But I haven't
really talked to her. She's a religious freak! I have allergy to those kind of people. But I  tapped a like on that post and put the phone away. It was a good one.

I dozed off,  thinking about all the different tattoos I wanted to get and be a cool bartender with the view of the beach and beautiful girls ofcourse.
