After a very uncomfortable conversation with her brother and the guy who gave her the best night of her life, Amaya was able to come up with the excuse that she had work to do. But as soon as she was far enough away from the two boys, she took out her phone. But before she dials Ella's number, she realizes the time difference. Two times in 1 day was a bit much. So she heads to the FIA building, where she luckily finds the person she's looking for.
"Rose, I have a problem," she says, making her colleague look up.
"What's up? Can you tell me as we walk to the cafeteria? I haven't had breakfast," Rose replies and Amaya nods.
"Remember the party in Bahrain?" Amaya starts off as the girls start walking towards the cafeteria.
"Of course, it was wild!"
"Well, I met a guy there and we were dancing and having fun. And afterward I left with him to the hotel and I had one of the best nights of my life."
"That's awesome! Do you know who it was?"
"Yeah, I just found out. It's Artem Markelov," Amaya says, making Rose's eyes widen.
"THE Artem Markelov? How is that a problem? He's basically sex on legs! Unless he left you a little thing to remember him by. Do you need me to buy you a test?"
"No, no, it's not that. I didn't know who it was until my brother introduced us to each other just now."
"Ehm, I don't get it?" Rose says confused.
"Artem is my brother Noah's best friend since forever. I've basically grown up with him," Amaya explains and Rose's eyes widen as she realizes what I'm saying.
"And he gave you the best night of your life."
"Yup, see my problem?" Amaya asks as they reach the cafeteria.
"Yeahh, I understand. Did you talk to Artem yet?"
"Not yet," Amaya says and just then, the smell of a bunch of different kinds of food hits her nose. Instantly, she feels sick, running off to the nearest toilet. Rose follows closely behind, holding back her hair as Amaya throws up in the toilet.
"You sure you don't want me to get you a test?" Rose asks worriedly.
"No, no, it's fine. The food at the hotel wasn't the greatest last night so I think I ate something bad," Amaya says as she gets up and washes her hands, drinking some water out of them to rinse her mouth.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, don't worry," Amaya assures her friend as they head back to the cafeteria. This time, Amaya is able to walk in without any issues. Just as they sit down for dinner, Noah walks up to them.
"How did you get in?" Amaya asks confused as he sits down at their table.
"I used my charm," Noah says, making Amaya chuckle.
"What's up?" she asks, curious to find out what he's doing here.
"I was thinking, maybe it'll be fun if we go out for dinner tonight. You, me and Artem I mean. You know, to catch up and all. Artem already said yes," Noah suggests and Amaya's eyes widen slightly. That's a bad idea.
"Actually, I already had plans with Rose here," Amaya says, pointing at her friend.
"We did?" Rose asks confused until she sees Amaya's face, "yeah, we did!"
"Why don't you come along too," Noah asks, focusing his attention on Rose, giving her his charming smile. Amaya sighs, already knowing she'll be going out for dinner with her brother, her friend and the guy who gave her the best night of her life.
That night Amaya is waiting in her hotelroom until Noah comes to pick her up. They agreed that the boys would come to the hotel the girls are staying in and they would go from there. A knock on the door makes Amaya jump up. She takes on last glance in the mirror before opening the door. But instead of Noah, she finds Artem standing across from her.
"What are you doing here?" Amaya asks confused.
"I suggested to Noah that I'd pick you up whilst he goes and picks up Rose. I figured it would be good if we had some time to talk before the dinner," Artem says and Amaya can't help but agree on that.
"Alright, good idea."
"So, what's the plan?" Artem asks and Amaya takes a second to think as they slowly walk to the elevator.
"I think we shouldn't say anything. It was a one time thing anyway."
"You didn't enjoy it?" Artem asks surprised.
"I did, I definitely did. But it can't happen again. If my boss finds out, I'm in deep trouble. And if Noah finds out, we're both dead. It's better for everyone if it just, doens't happen again. It shouldn't even have happened in the first place."
"So if you didn't work for the FIA and I wasn't your brother's best friend, it would've happened again?" Artem asks, a smirk on his face that causes Amaya to blush.
"Who knows," she replies as she presses the button to make the elevator come.
"Guess you'll have to quit your job and I have to start a fight then."
"Why?" Amaya asks confused.
"Because I want it to happen again," Artem says as he presses Amaya against the wall, capturing her between his arms.
"It can't," Amaya says as Artem dips his head and presses a kiss against her neck.
"Don't you remember how good it felt? Don't you want that again?" he whispers in Amaya's ear, making shivers go down her spine.
"I do," Amaya says, letting him kiss her neck as she tilts her head to the side for a bit. Artem's hands disappear from beside her head as he realizes she's not resisting anymore. One of his hands finds its way to her back whilst the other slowly slides down from her neck to her breasts.
Then the elevator doors open, making them break apart. Amaya can't look Artem in the eyes, not wanting to admit to him or herself how much she enjoyed that. They get in the elevator and go down to the lobby, where Noah and Rose are already waiting for them.
"That took long enough," Noah says when they reach them.
"Sorry, I had a situation," Amaya makes up, trying not to blush as she feels Artem's hand on her back, just a little too low.
