Due to the embarrassement, I refused to go back for a couple of days. Even though I feel bad for not showing up I just can't I'm too embarrassed.

I keep staring at the forest through my window waiting for him to magically show up infront of my house.

I finish my book that I was reading and decide to get a new one at the library. I put on my boots and a sweater, right before leaving the house I grab my ear buds and plug them in.

I start walking and end up taking the route through the park. I reach the small bridge to cross the little river flowing through the park, only to spot a familiar face standing on the bridge staring at the water.

I was about to turn around not having the courage to talk to him but it was to late he already saw me.
