Chapter 2

"Save it" I can't believe he did this to me, I mean being jealous is one thing but being mad is another. Like I'm so sorry for being over dramatic but we've been friends for 17 years going to 18 next year and not once did he tell me? What happened to 'best friends forever and never to keep secrets from each other'? Well in this case it doesn't mean a thing anymore.

I stood up from the swing I was sitting on and just like on cue, it started raining. Cliché indeed. Could this night get any worst? Groaning I started walking back home. Hearing Wes' voice behind me, I started running, even me being a soccer player didn't help a thing with this short legs, Mr Quaterback here catched up and grabbed my arm and turned me around so I'm facing him.

This is the part where the guy kisses the girl romantically in the rain, well as of now, my life, is not as cliché because all he did was pulling me into a hug and repeatedly apologizing and I quote "Lex I'm so sorry I don't know what happened I just, I'm really really really sorry."

I release myself from the hug, "Dude, it's fine, I got to go home now, its nearly midnight and I have yet to finish my homework, I'll see you tomorrow and you can ask Clarice to join us for lunch if you want to" and then I left, leaving him behind slightly dazed.

Reaching home I run to my room but along the way I bumped into someone, "what the fu-" "Ah ah ah, before you finish that inappropriate sentence, please greet me properly like the loving little sister and you are and why are you wet?" that voice, that voice... ALEX!

I look up seeing my sarcastic goofball of a brother smiling at me toothily. I immediately hug him. This idiot here is Alexander (Alex) McGram- Alexandria Alexander, shocker- , my older brother who I rarely see due to him being in college. I would always complain that I never get to see him often and seeing him leave for college hurts so bad we have a pretty close relationship, okay pretty close is an understatement, WE'RE VERY DAMN CLOSE, closer than fat guys in spandex. Even though we've only been separated for a year and now he's a sophomore studying business - pssh smartass.

"What the flying crepes are you doing here?" I shout clearly couldn't control the excitement. "Well clearly you can't get enough of me" I roll my eyes at that, ahh his ego is still as big as ever. You see, my brother was the most popular kid in Greenwidge High, literally he's known for his charming handsome looks and his multi talents in sports and music and also for his brain- business school helloooo. And did I mention he's a part-time model? Yeah I should mention that. He's a part-time model.

"Well cupcake, I'm taking online classes now because dad needs help with the restaurant that's why I'm back." Dad, Adam McGram, owner of Viva La Vi restaurant, the most popular restaurant in town along with his co-owner, Alexa McGram.

All I did was nod and hugged him again. "Good to have you back Alex, I miss you so much you don't even know" "Trust me cupcake, I know and I miss you more"

"Cupcake. Oi. ALEXANDRIA!" I was awaken by my annoying brother, oh how i can ever forget his annoying morning wake up calls? They're horrible, once when I didn't wake up after umpteenth time of him shaking me and calling my name - I'm a heavy sleeper, sue me. He literally took a bucket of ice cold water and dumped it on me like nobody's business. "Good to have you back indeed big bro." I mumble hiding my face further into my pillow.

"Come on Lex, time for school, Wes is already here." "Leave me alone to rot in this bed, I rather stay here than see his face" upon realizing what I just told my brother I quickly shot up and look at him. He's giving me his confused face and mentally asking me 'What happened? And do I have to kill that turd?' look.
