Daddy smells so much better now that he threw away his smoke . I don't cough as bad as before , but I still cough and is still hurts when I cough.
Daddy was sitting on the couch with the guys. Sylo was sitting beside me and I was coloring. Ben was down in the floor with us too. Ben was the drummer with the Mohawk . I played with ben's Mohawk . He tried to poke me with his sharp hair. I took my pink marker and gave him a mustache. "Not funny". Ben says. " then why am I laughing, Ha.. Ha .. Ha!" I mock. He laughed at me and got a hold of me and was about to draw on me when daddy hit him with a pillow. "Don't color on her what are you 4?" Daddy says. Ben smiled at me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "No but she is". Ben says. " I'm 5!" I say.
" you are not your 4". Ben says, he was just trying to bug me.
"Well at least I'm not all 40 and old!" I say . All the guys said "ooohhhh". And daddy said "that's my girl".

"I'm 24". Ben says.
Ben was weird but daddy had been friends with him for a long time. Ben started tickling me, I was screaming and laughing; and sylo started barking to keep me safe. He bit ben's hand. Ben let go of me. "You don't mess with his lil buddy, Ben". Daddy says.

I jumped on Ben he was messing with my lil buddy, he wrestled me for a minute.

(BG's p.o.v)

The gum was doing wonders, it was great I hadn't smoked in a whole week. I called Luna.

Luna: hello?

Me: hey it's Brantley

Luna: hi, how's the gum?

Me: good it's working .

Luna: that's good.

I heard a dog in the background .
"Daybreak, hush". Luna says to the dog.

Luna: sorry, so I'm glad the gums doing good for you.
I'm off of it now. Smoke free as of yesterday.

Me: good, so uh, you uh got any plans this weekend .

Me: No.

I was standing on my front porch playing with my sea shell wind chimes that the muggles believed warded off evil spirits. But I believed it a bit too.

Brantley: well uh, you wanna meet up sometime this weekend?

He was nervous I could feel it.
I played with my radish earrings that dangled from my ears

Me: Sure, I'd like that.

Brantley : cool, you just text me your address and I'll pick ya up at 1:00 this Saturday .

Me: okay.

Brantley : alright , bye.

Me: bye.

I felt my pale cheeks get red.
