"Mai yeh financial stability ke liye nahi kar rahi hun. I am doing this to get my independency back. I want to be independent and show Mr Tej Singh Oberoi that we can stay without him happily" she stated
"Hum maa ka purn roop se samarthan karte hai" Gauri held her shoulders and smiled with assurance
"Samthaan karte hai?? Arey Bhabhi, aap kaha bich me Parth samthaan ko le aayi. Bhaiya bura man jayenge" Rudy scratched his nape while others looked at him with narrowed eyes
"Joke tha. Wo thoda mahol light karna chahta tha" Rudy smiled sheepishly.
"Shut up Rudra" they said in unison and laughed. Perhaps they are more happy without that fake man who did nothing but just broke two families and corrupted his own son's mind.
"And Shivaay ek baat bolu, maine abhi tak tumhe maaf nahi kia hai." Jahnvi said and Shivaay's smile instantly vanished
"Mom, aise paraya mat kijiye. Galti huyi hai mujhse" he joined his hands and bowed down on his knees
"Mai kaun hoti hun maafi dene wali. Maafi kisi aur se mangni hai. Uski maafi mil jaye to bas, sab thik ho jayega." she told him

"Can I ask you something Anika?" Aryan said
"Go ahead" she replied concentrating on the bowl of ice cream in her hands
"Look at me" he ordered
"Haan bolo baba" she crossed her legs and sat on the bed comfortably
"Do you still love Shivaay?" he asked directly without beating around the bush
"Huh? "
"I am asking seriously Anika. Tum mujhse kehti ho ki badla lene aayi Ho par jab wo drink karta hai to tumhe uski phikar hoti hai. Tum kehti ho ki tum uski family se revenge lene aayi ho, par tum hi unlogo ko Tej Oberoi se chutkara dilati ho. Tum kehti ho ki Shivaay ka har ek part Ko destroy karogi aur tum hi use Sahara bhi deti ho. Is it really your hatred?" his questions had the logic. She is here for the revenge but the things she has been doing has no relation to her plan of destruction. Does she still love that man?
"You know I am thinking if this is your hatred, then tumhara pyaar kaisa hoga. I guarantee Shivaay lost a gem" Aryan finished and looked up to her for some answers
"Dekho Aryan, mera revenge sirf Tej Singh Oberoi and Shivaay singh Oberoi ke saath hai. I am not like them to drag families into the matter. That's it." Anika replied but somewhere down her heart, she was confused.
"Jahnvi Singh has applied for a job in the company as well. Kya khayal hai usme?" Aryan asked
"Give her the job. And one more thing, Tej Singh Oberoi ke whereabouts ka bhi dhyaan rakhna. I feel he is definitely planning something big against me after this case" Anika said with no expression
"Fikar not madam. I am always there" this brought a smile on her lips.
A person who was standing at the doorstep of the room was burning with rage and jealousy.
"Chup chup ke dusro ki baatein sunna bhi Oberois ki parampara hai I suppose" Anika caught him red handed
Shivaay uttering no word left from there and went to the garden. Why it happens around her? She is no one to him then why she has this much of effect on him?
Anika sensed his uneasiness seeing Aryan so close to her but she shrugged away the matter

NEXT DAY
"What the hell? Are we going to present this shit presentation in front of the Malhotra?" Anika was screening on an employee while he stood with his head hung low
"I am sorry mam, I will do it again" he mumbled in fear
"Do you fucking know that we have only 1 hour left for the meeting?" she snapped
Shivaay felt bad for the employee as now he could very well relate himself with them. Though there was a time when he himself used to shout and scold them for silly reasons but they are humans as well. Mistakes are part of human life. This made him remember his biggest mistake of life. Trusting the wrong person and killing the pure soul who loved him insanely
He entered the cabin slowly
"Dont you have manners Mr Shivaay? Knock before you enter" Anika said in a commanding way
"I will do it from the next time, now I have already entered MA'AM" he focused on the word
"Go back and come again. Otherwise har baar galti hogi aur sudharne wala koi nahi hoga" she had a different meaning and Shivaay didn't fail to understand it either
"Har baar galti nahi hoti. And specially jab pehli baar me ehsaas hota hai to Dusri baar karne ke sahas nahi hota" he said
"Wow.. I am impressed Mr Oberoi. Jinke father khud pata nahi kya kya karke aaye hai, wo aisi baat kare to accha nahi lagta" Anika made a fake pity face
Excusing himself, the employee went out of the cabin leaving behind Shivika alone
"Anika Mujhe tu.... "
"It's Mam for you. I am not your friend to be called by name" she said and sat on the chair with her legs crossed. One thing he must admit that she has grown really stylish after the comeback
"MA'AM, mujhe apni mom ke job ke baare me.. "
"I know she has applied, agar deserve karti hai to Mil jayegi" Anika replied
"Will you let me finish for once?" Shivaay said
"Shuruat apne already Kar li hai Mr Oberoi, khatam karne ka mauka to mujhe milna chahiye. What say?" her eyes depicted fear but still he could find something else there too... What can it be?
