Chapter 1

Valentina's POV

Have you ever felt so depressed that you don't wanna live anymore? if not, I have.

My dad just died in front of us at his wedding and trust me,that's one of the worst things that could ever happen to you.

Right now me and Lucho,my boyfriend, are at our family's,the Carjaval's mansion and he's driving me insane. Yes, I love him and everything,well i don't know if that's love but I guess that's what you call it, but since everything has happened these few days I'm not feeling well.

-Baby let's go out ,you need fresh air.- Lucho said while getting up from my bed where we were both laying.

-I don't want to.- I said,because i wasn't in the mood for anything honestly.

-Valentina I'm serious.- he said in a serious tone. well I guess that he's right maybe I'll forget about everything for a while.

-Ughhh okay, where will we go?

-I know this great new cafe, let's go there.- he said wearing his jacket.

Juliana's POV

Another busy day at the cafe! I'm glad that many people are coming here, I need their tips, since my mother lost her job I've started working here,I work as a waiter but as long as they're paying me good, I'm happy with this job.

-Excuse me, the check please!- A customer called me.

-Be right there sir!- I said

As I turned around to get the check,I accidentally bumped into someone,and I must say , it really hurt me, ouch!

-Oh my God,I'm really so...- "Wow" I thought to myself, I bumped into a girl and God she was pretty. I looked deeply in her ocean blue eyes, actually we were both staring deeply at each other.

-Gosh, Valentina focus on where you're going!-She talked to herself.

-No,It's my fault, I'm sorry...Valentina? I'm guessing?- I said smiling.

-haha yeah...

-Valentina!- A guy shouted from table 5, I'm guessing that's her boyfriend.

-Gotta go now, sorry again.- She said and left

Wow I've never seen a beautiful girl like her before, maybe I have but I don't know,there's something about her.

Luckily, I always serve table 5, so i walked there to take their orders...

-Are you ready to make an order?- I asked them.

-Yes! I want a Chicken Quesadilla,large plate with fries.-the guys said without a please, what an attitude.

-Okay great, and you ma'am?-I asked smiling at Valentina. Even her name is beautiful.

-Ughhh I really don't know, can you help me choose please?- she asked making a hand gesture at me to come closer to her.

-Where is the toilet?- The guy suddenly asked with a serious tone.

-Walk straight, second left and you'll see it ,sir.- I said.

I don't know why but he's getting on my nerves.

So he left without saying anything and I went behind Valentina to help her choose her food.

She opened the menu flicking through the pages, then she stopped on the 'Main Course" page and scanned it.

-I can't find anything God what is happening to me.- She said then I came closer to her to help her so my head was over her shoulder, next to her head.

Valentina's POV

Is it too obvious that I'm faking all this so she can help me? I hope not.

Right now her face is next to my neck and everytime she speaks her hot breath on my neck is giving me chills.

-The salads are really tasty here.- She said looking deeply in my eyes.

-I'm not in the mood for a salad now.

-Uhh okay...what about Mac and Cheese?- she asked.

Her face was really close to mine.

-I would love that.- I said smiling.

-I'm back.-Lucho said and sat down fixing his shirt.

-Okay now, your order will be ready in a few minutes.- The waitress said.

I don't even know her name. Who is she? What is happening to me? Why do i like her and I don't even know her?

After a few minutes she came back with the food and they look delicious.

-Do you like it?- She asked me as soon as I ate the first bite.

-Wow! This is amazing, I'm gonna come here more often!- I said winking at her.

-If you need anything just let me know!- She said leaving.

After we finished eating our food, Sergio, Lucho's best friend, called him and I guess that they're going to a party, again!

-Valentina let's go, I'm going to be late.-he said while gesturing the pretty waitress to get the check.

I don't know why he's hurrying so much, it's not that the party will end anytime soon...

-Here is it sir.- She put the check on the table and left.

-Come on let's go.- he said quickly getting up.

-Lucho, wait for me!- I said running after him.

Juliana's POV

They left.

Am I going to see her again?

I don't even like girls, why am I really interested in her?

Anyways...

As I went closer to the table I saw a black purse, It must be Valentina's!

-Valentina! Wait! You left your purse here!- I shouted running towards the exit of the cafe and when I went out, I was late, they've left already!

What am I going to do?
