So I realised that:
A) there are practically no ST: Discovery fanfics
B) there's no (as far as I'm aware) Stamets x reader fanfics - and he's my fave character lmao
C) those fanfics that were written are all based at the start of season 1, even though as I write this season 2 ep 3 just aired yesterday
So I don't really know where this story is going but it'll be a reader x Stamets book and some chapter titles will be an episode title (I'll put an S1E6 in front of it or something) just to move the actual Discovery plot along and others will be purely fictional and fluff :3 Obviously the reader is male as Stamets is canonically gay and it personally wouldn't feel right to be like "oh ye he's bi now" so I'm sorry to all my ladies and non-binary kiddos (and all those in between) but this will be a male book. Also I doubt many will read this as it's hitting a very niché group of people but oh well, it'll be fun to write because its a series I'm passionate about lmao. Side note: the writer will be transgender female to male because I have personal experience as I am just that and honestly it adds an extra dimension to an otherwise empty reader insert lol.
