Morning...
The sun rose up in the horizon, making the sky turn a light shade of orange and red as it rose. The camp and forest started to light up from the sun, creating a nice, warm atmosphere that woke up the gang one by one.
Lucy opened her eyes slowly, she rubbed her eyes tiredly and sat up. She looked at Luke, who was beside her. Luke snored softly in his sleep, his hair was a mess and his arms were on his chest which was rising up and down slowly. Lucy blushed a little at how handsome he looked, even if he didn't try to look handsome.
She yawned and stretched, then peeked out of her tent. One tent was already opened, she saw Malik and Zach prepare some things. So she decided to fix herself a little before going up to them.
"Good morning, guys." Lucy said.
Malik and Zach looked at her, "Good morning, Lucy." They said in unison. Lucy stared at they were preparing.
"What are you guys doing?" Lucy asked.
"We were thinking of a group hike." Zach said. Lucy's eyes lit up in excitement. "We'll be leaving at 8 when everyone's ready. There's an hour thirty left." Zach added.
"Should I wake the others then?" Lucy asked, smiling.
"Well, sure. But I gotta warn you, Shadow's not that much of a morning person." Zach said, waving his hand around.
"Noted." Lucy chuckled and went back to her tent. Luke was still asleep, but she went to wake him up anyway. "Luke, Luke. Psst. Wake up."
No response from Luke. He only tilted his head. Lucy's eyebrows furrowed.
"Luke. Psst. Wake up, you sleepyhead." Lucy said, shaking him gently. "Luke.. Luke.. Luke.. Luke.."
"Go away..." Luke mumbled sleepily, but his eyes were still closed. Lucy huffed silently.
"Get off your comfy sleeping bag or so help me, I'll drag you off it myself." Lucy said in a threatening tone.
"Try me.." Luke mumbled. Lucy grinned mischievously and crawled over to Luke, an evil plan in her head. She grabbed her bag and rummaged through it until she found her water bottle, which still had some cold water in it. She looked over to Luke again, then slowly started removing the cap over his head.
Hehehe.. Lucy smirked. But once the cap was off and she almost poured some on his face, Luke's arm grabbed hers and she was pinned to his left side. Lucy groaned in slight pain. "Ow.." She hissed.
Luke's eyes slowly opened and he smirked. Lucy smiled nervously, Luke's free hand grabbed the water bottle and tossed it aside. He stared at her quietly. Lucy gulped in slight nervousness because of the close proximity. Luke smiled softly.
"Good morning, beautiful." He said in a deep, husky morning voice. Lucy blushed, she wasn't very used to hearing his voice like that. "What were you planning, hmm?"
"I.. uh.. just wanted to wake you up?" Lucy stammered. Luke narrowed his eyes.
"Oh, really? Then what's with the water bottle?" He asked, still having the deep voice.
"..Alright fine, I was hoping to wake you with cold water.." Lucy gave in because his stare was killing her from the inside. Luke smirked. Lucy looked away because his blue eyes were piercing her own. Luke's hand went to her cheek and he kissed her softly. Lucy's eyes widened, but they closed eventually. Luke's right arm brought her closer while his right played with her hair.
The kiss broke and they exhaled softly. They were both blushing. Lucy smiled and giggled. Luke's heart fluttered at the sound of her laugh, so he smiled too.
"Well, you woke me up now.." Luke murmured and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Let's wake the others, shall we?"
At 8:00...
The gang strolled through the forest, in awe of the beautiful nature and surprisingly clean ground. Mandy loved the sound of the birds chirping as she walked, while the rest enjoyed the calm atmosphere.
They admired the waterfall that they saw above a big lake, the large, old tree they found nearby, and the clear field that they're in at the moment. Since there were flowers nearby, Shadow decided to pick some for Lauren. He saw blue, pink, yellow and orange flowers, but he was looking for a specific color.
His eyes lit up when he saw the red ones, they were definitely roses, Lauren's favorite flower. He picked some and put them behind his back before walking up to Lauren, who was chatting with Mandy.
"Hey, I.. got you something." Shadow said, a little nervous. Lauren looked curiously, her purple eyes lit up when she saw the roses he's holding. "Here." Shadow murmured and gave the bouquet to her.
Lauren smiled cutely and hugged Shadow. He blushed too and returned the hug, Mandy squealed softly in the background. Cute! She thought.
Luke and Lucy decided to take a few pictures when they could, while Malik, Felix and Zach chatted somewhere nearby. But Zach felt a little uneasy, the air felt a little colder than usual. He looked around for anything, but there was nothing. He continued to talk with Malik and Felix, but the cold, uneasy feeling never left.
At one point, he started seeing faint gray clouds around their area, near Luke and Lucy, behind him, and even near Shadow, Mandy and Lauren. He narrowed his eyes at the clouds.
"Zach!" Felix exclaimed. Zach jumped in surprise. "We called your name for like four times. Anything wrong?"
"Nothing. I just saw these faint, gray clouds around our area. Can you see them?" Zach asked, Malik and Felix looked around.
"Nope." Malik shrugged. "You sure there were gray clouds here?"
"Yeah but.. ah, never mind. It was probably a hallucination." Zach mumbled and continued talking with his two friends.
