"Carl's back from Juvie?" Noah-Chloe's best friend- asks with a sigh. He and Carl never got a long and it was really annoying. "Yeah I know you guys weren't the best of friends, but be nice for my sake." Carl was out doing god knows what or meeting up with god knows who.
As for Chloe, well she usually gets dressed and showers much earlier, but she slept in and had a couple minutes downstairs talking to Carl and Fiona.
"I tried, but the guy is a total dick. Not to mention now a criminal too." Noah would sometimes go too far with the reasons as to why he hates Carl. Sometimes even saying things that hurt Chloe.
"Fine then, Don't come by today." She's not meaning to sound rude, but If Noah and Her brother are going to fight then she's not up for it. "You won't tolerate him so don't come over." She can't tell Carl to go, he lives there.
"And why not him?"
"Because dumbass, he is my brother, who lives here." And with a last sigh, Noah apologies and agrees. Telling her that he'll see her tomorrow. "That asshead?" Carl surprises her one she's hung up.
"His name is Noah. He's been here basically everyday since you left me all alone. I told him not to come by today."
"I didn't leave you all alone." Carl defends himself but if he had just fessed up or been less rude then things might of turned out differently. "I mean, I still think you coulda cooled it down on the sexual comment." Even though that was funny.
"Ha Ha."
"But for real, Noah said that it was a dick move just getting yourself locked up and noticed how-his words not mine- Depressingly mad I was. He promised not to pull a stunt like that ever." And maybe he's just jealous of how Chloe would pick Carl over him any day of the week. Noah understands that they're twins and all, but doesn't see how they just had to be close.
"Always hated that bitch." Her twin's comment only causes Chloe to chuckle as she sits down next to him. "I don't agree with him to be honest. I know that If you had snitched then G-Dog's boys would of been after you and I'm not okay with that either." Which is why she hates the 'game' so much.
Getting caught always ends up badly. Either you get locked up or if you tell them you'll be a walking target.
"I know, but I won't leave again." He doesn't plan to anyways. "Promise?" Chloe sounds innocent-as she did once all those years ago. Her voice and words remind Carl of a promise made a long time ago.
