It's evening Friday, almost 8pm. She's running with her delicate short legs. She will be late for sure.
'Ugh, damn! Why now?'
There's drops of water from the dark skies. She's trying her best to run faster with her heels without falling down.
'What a day!'
After being stucked with her fussy lady boss on that important day, now she is running in the drizzling rain and hoping that the flower shop didn't close yet.
She will be late to her mum birthday celebration party.
"Auntie..i'm sorry..."
She was stunned when she's not seeing aunt Wang there but the gorgeous guy in his black shirt sitting at counter with his hand holding up his chin leisurely staring at messy her.
"E-er..."
"You must be sweetie Yueyue...Here your flower. My mum said wait for sweetie Yueyue pick up this flower because it's kinda important and i can't move from this counter until you came."
"Oh?? umm...thanks a lot. I'm really-really sorry. There's something come up at workplace. Umm..here the payment."
He take the money and give her receipts.
"Thank you. Umm..i'm sorry again. Send my thanks to auntie Wang. I got to go, thanks again..bye.."
She is taking her mum's tulips bouquet and about turning her body around to the door.
"Miss sweetie Yueyue, don't you think you need compensating my times? I'm waiting for you almost 3 hours and you just said sorry and thank you? Let's do this, you owed me 5 dinners for my 3 hours, so since you always be here every Friday, let's out for dinner on every Friday."
She was froze on her spot, staring at him who walking closer to her.
"..and here your baby breath, from me. FOC since my mum said it's your favourite flower."
She take it, still stunned.
"My mum like you and she just know that i like you too.."
He is smiling to her, staring at her who still on silent looking at him.
"O-ok. I need to go and see you next friday."
She is blinking numerously, before turning her back from him.
"Shen Yue, let's go together. My mum already there and i want to see you mum too. It's been years since i met her."
He is now standing at her side, grinning playfully.
"You are now beautiful lady, my Xiao Shen!"
She still nervous after years meeting this guy again, her childhood friend aka her buddy aka her crush aka her unrequited love.
Wang HeDi.
Xiao Wang.
Didi.
She's lost her words, she can't think straight. She thought he never comeback to this town. Her tears suddenly down to her cheeks.
"Hey, i'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't cry, i'm here."
"You're jerk! I hate you. I don't want you. I don't want go dinner with you. You go! Don't back to here anymore."
He is quickly hugging that tiny lady into his arms tightly.
"I'm sorry, i'm a coward. I'm scared to lose you if we can't make it and we were too young that time. I want you be my forever, Shen Yue. I don't want hurt you and losing you. I want to be successful man before taking you. I like you so much and i will love you always. Can you taking me now? I got nobody who want me..please?"
"Who want you..i don't want you anymore."
Her muffled voice against his chest with tears wetting his shirt and her hand tightly holding him. He is smiling widely. His silly Xiao Shen still the same his stubborn Shen Yue.
She don't know how he is missing her like crazy when he's away but he need to fight that just because he loves her so much. He can't hold her when they're need be away from each other in a long term for studying abroad. He is not confident in long distance relationship, he don't want that but he still want her.
He was left her hanging. He broke her, avoiding her for years and now he is back to beg her to take him back because he just cannot afford to love someone else. His heart on her. If she don't want him anymore, she need return it to him safely by herself.
He talked to her mum and when her mum said she is waiting for him, he just seeking her parents blessing to take her as his. They're just happy blessing him and requesting to take her daughter immediately because they're tired match-making her with someone else when she's not even make a effort to make it happen.
"Mum said we can engaging next month and wedding by the end of this year."
"Hmm?? Too soon?"
"Why? I don't need date you because i already dating you since 20 years ago. I want you, you want me. So? Let's married for real this time,ok?"
She is peeking him from his chest, considering his suggestions.
"Stop thinking, your eyes already say yes. Can i kiss you?"
"Hmm, i looks terrible..."
"Hey, i already saw you in more terrible looks. Just let me kiss you."
Before she about to reply him, he already lock her lips with him. It's soft, sweet, lingering kiss before turning to breathy, steamy, hot kiss.
Her mum's tulips and her baby breath already landed safely on floor since her hand busying running through his hair.
"We were will be late, Didi.."
She managed to get a grip when their lips parted away for air.
"Oh, my mum already informed by this and she's already delivered the tulips to your mum. Maybe now they're talking about our wedding or our baby names."
"Ugh, you are unbelievable, Wang HeDi!!"
"Yes, i am. Your mum looks really excited to make me as her son in law though. She even agreed when i said i will kidnapping you on her birthday.."
"Oh yeah? who will marry you?"
"You..you..you..."
He is kissing her featherly on her face. She is giggling softly before back to his lips.
We were in this unnamed relationship for years. More than friends less than lovers. We were just on hold for the right time and moment. It's doesn't matter how long it's take because we know that we cannot afford to love anyone else since our heart already tangled to each other.
Two people don't have to be together right now, in a month or in a year. If those people are meant to be then they will be together somehow at sometime in life.
It's just meant to be,
just you and me.

Hey, it's suddenly one shot which actually supposed to be tiny story but my brain working actively tonight, it's become one shot story.
