Author Note:
Okay, so this is going to be a Katsuki Bakugou X Reader, though I'm going to write in first person (like in all my X Readers...) instead of second person (like you're supposed to). First person is using 'I' and 'me', second person is using 'you' and 'your'. So for example, I would write "I tripped and fell," instead of "you tripped and fell". As well, I already have an image of what I want the character to look like, so I'm going to do descriptions like hair color, skin tone, and eye color. If you don't like that, you can mentally change the color, (sorry). Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
-In Kindergarten-
The teacher's hands rest on my shoulders, and I smile,
"Let's all welcome [Y/N]," she says in the perky kindergarten teacher way. I smile,
"Hello!" I say, waving slightly at the other little kids. The other teacher seems to be struggling with some other kid, catching my attention as small flames go off,
"I DON'T HAVE TO SEE ANOTHER EXTRA!" I hear a loud voice snarl. A small kid with green hair rushes over.
"Kacchan calm down," he says softly, obviously nervous,
"SHUT UP! DAMN DEKU!" I hear the voice shout again. I feel my head tilt slightly.
The teacher manages to wrangle the little boy, though he's obviously not happy about it,
"Um, why don't you introduce yourself?" the teacher holding my shoulder says nervously,
"Oh, yeah," I smile slightly. "I'm [Y/N] [L/N]," I start, feeling a pair of burning eyes on me. I ignore them, "I like to draw," I add perkily.
"Katsuki!" the other teacher suddenly yelps as the shouting boy runs out of her grasp. He comes straight up to me, his blonde hair spiky and his red eyes sharp.
"Mine!" he shouts, grabbing my arm, and dragging me away.
"K-Katsuki, you shouldn't do that!" the teacher who had been holding my shoulders says nervously, the shouting boy huffs, not bothering to look back as he drags me over to a messy area. He turns back to me,
"I'm Katsuki Bakugou," he says suddenly. "And I'm a hero, like All Might," he says proudly. I smile a bit,
"Okay!" I then clap my hands together bouncing slightly, "Can I call you Kit-Kat?" I ask him hopefully.
"NO!" he shouts, I frown sadly,
"Pllllleeeeeaaaassseee," I whine softly, he hesitates, "it's my favorite candy!" I add.
"Fine," he mutters, though his cheeks hold a tint of red, "we're gonna play heroes," he snaps suddenly.
"Okay Kit-Kat!" I chirp happily,
"You're gonna be the damsel in distress! And I'm gonna be the hero!" he shouts at me. I nod, clapping my hands,
"Yeah!" I cheer.
"DEKU! COME HERE!" he shouts, and the green-haired kid runs over,
"Hi," he says shyly to me, "I'm Izuku Midoriya," he adds.
"Can I call you Izu?" I ask hopefully,
"Y-yeah," he says happily, Kit-Kat huffs angrily, grabbing my arm tightly, glaring at Izu.
"Damn nerd," he growls,
"Be nice to Izu, Kit-Kat!" I scold, pouting slightly. He says nothing for a moment,
"Fine," he mutters. "Come on," he adds, tugging me away.
-7 Years Later-
I walk down the halls toward Izuku's and Katsuki's classroom, annoyed at some of the girls in my class. I didn't get placed with Izuku and Katsuki, and it's been awful... I shove open the door,
"Stupid nerd! Just go up to the roof and jump off!" I hear Katsuki snarl at Izuku. I frown as I see Izuku cowering on the floor, Katsuki standing over him, hands sparking up slightly, "Quirkless piece of shit," he adds, glaring down at the poor green-haired kid. I feel my jaw clench slightly.
"Oh, shut up," I snap, scoffing slightly, shoving past him. I offer my hand to Izuku pulling him up, "Come on Izu, let's go to lunch!" I say with a smile. I hear Katsuki growl softly in angry.
"HEY!" he shouts, disliking how I'm ignoring him. He grabs my arm, pulling me toward him. I shove at his chest,
"Back off Bakugou," I say coldly though I desperately want to ignore what a jerk he's being and just hug him, I latch onto Izuku's arm and practically drag him out.
Once outside, I sigh, letting go.
"You okay [Y/N]?" Izuku asks softly. I tilt my head curiously at him, "You called Kacchan 'Bakugou', that's not what you normally call him," he says, looking away.
"Yeah, well. He was a jerk," I tell him, dragging him toward a bench. I flop down, grabbing my food. " he needs to get his ego checked," I add with a small eyeroll, "and he says rude stuff too. I don't like how mean he is to you," I tell Izuku firmly. Though I know, deep down, that I'd rather just forgive him... no, actually I'd rather be firmly in his arms...
-A Few Weeks Later-
I sit down next to Izuku, it's lunchtime, and we're outside, the cafeteria isn't exactly for quirkless losers like us...
"Hey," I say softly,
"Hey [Y/N]," he says with a smile, how does he keep smiling? Even when stupid Kit-Kat's super mean...
"Hey Izu," I greet back, smiling a bit.
"You okay?" he asks softly, immediately noticing how I'm not acting normally. He's so nice...
"Yeah..." I sigh, rubbing my temples. "But I'm moving away tomorrow. My mom got a job somewhere else," I tell him, staring straight ahead,
"What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" he asks, giving me a hug. I lean into him,
"Thanks, Izu, you're so nice," I tell him with a sad chuckle.
-One Day Later-
I stare down the road,
"Come on [Y/N]. We need to get going now," my mother says softly. I slowly nod,
"Yeah. Okay," I whisper softly, turning around to climb into the car. I buckle into my seat as the car begins to roll forward.
I watch the terrain glide past, sighing softly, why did I even think he'd come to say goodbye?! Stupid... my phone buzzes in my hand.
Izu: Hey, sad to see you go. Sorry I couldn't come to say goodbye...
I feel myself smile slightly. Well, at least someone cares!
[Y/N]: Eh, don't worry about it! We'll keep in touch Izu!
I smile up at my mom.
-Around 2 Years Later-
I walk into my house, the movers bringing things in for me. I grin slightly. Look out UA, I'm back, and here I come!
