I wake up the next morning and quickly apply my makeup, getting dressed quickly before taking a pain pill for my stupid headache and grabbing my bag before walking outside and toward school. I look through my phone. Okay, I know I must've done something absolutely stupid. Just have to find out what... I remember chatting up Denki and walking home... and the call... and drinking once I got home. But I don't remember anything after that. Wait... Kit-Kat?
I groan softly as I look through the messages.
[Y/N]: Sorry for last night. I was drunk. And I was a moron...
Kit-Kat: It's fine. But don't call me Kit-Kat.
[Y/N]: Oh no, you agreed to let me call you Kit-Kat. So I get to now!
[Y/N]: See ya at school Kit-Kat!!
I smirk slightly, continuing toward school.
I walk into the classroom, flopping down in my seat, Ochaco gives me a shy smile.
"You okay?" she whispers,
"Yeah," I tell her with a chuckle, "Just tired," I shrug it off.
Just as the bell rings, Katsuki stomps into the classroom, something obviously pissing him off. Today, Aizawa immediately comes in. I sigh, tuning him out. I rest my chin on my hand, staring straight ahead and off into space.
Ochaco pokes my shoulder, making me jump. She chuckles at my reaction.
"Come on," she whispers, "We're going to train with our quirks," she adds. I nod, standing,
"Sorry, I wasn't listening at all..." I tell her with a chuckle. We walk out of the room, letting the stream of students guide us.
We get into the large training room, and I nearly groan at the mere thought of having to do anything physical. Aizawa turns around to face us.
"Today we're going to do one on one's," he says flatly. I smile at Ochaco, and she hooks her arm through mine,
"Partners," she confirms, and I grin slightly. We wander over to one of the many small rings that have been set up. I yawn, stretching slightly. Ochaco steps into the ring, obviously getting ready. I step into the ring,
"Ready?" I ask with a small smirk. She grins, nodding quickly. I feel my breath ease out of my lips. She rushes forward, and my eyes narrow. The world goes dark.
Black and white, only a few things still holding color.
I barely feel myself as I spin away from her grasp, latching onto her wrist as I throw her down. As she goes down, I step forward, my hand slamming down onto the back of her neck, my pinkie and thumb moving to dig into the nerve bundles on her shoulders.
I feel color and air wash into me, with Ochaco underneath me, her arms limp. My free hand hands at my side. I stand up, chuckling,
"I won!" I cheer happily. Ochaco laughs a bit at my excitement. We quickly walk out of the ring, watching everyone else finish fighting. My eyes land on the Denki VS Mina fight just as Denki releases a large burst of electricity, stupifying himself. I have literally no words... I continue glancing around, pretending to focus on the fights.
Finally, the matches all end.
"Alright, second round," Aizawa stays lazily. "Not the same person," he adds. I glance around, who's gonna be my partner then?
"Come on," someone growls, grabbing my forearm and dragging me away. Kit-Kat to the rescue!
"Hey Kit-Kat!" I say cheerily. He growls angrily. He pulls me into the ring, putting a few feet between us. He slowly grins,
"Ready to be crushed?" he snarls. I smile a bit, letting out a slow breath, letting the color drain out of my vision. His hand comes up near my face, sparks sprouting from his hands.
I spin away, ducking under his arm. I press myself against him, my hands moving to his biceps.
I shift my weight onto him, forcing him to fall. My knees land on the ground on either side of his hips. I move my hands to his wrists, holding him down. Small sparks burst from his hands. I gasp softly, color flooding back into my vision. I smile down at him. He's trapped, his quirk useless since his hands can't make his explosions reach me. I see his jaw clench. I giggle,
"Do I win?" I ask hopefully. His hands manage to flip around, grabbing my wrists tightly. He easily flips me, pinning my wrists above my head. He smirks.
"Nope. I do," he growls, easily pinning me with his body. I groan softly, pouting,
"Fine," I mutter. He freezes for a moment before quickly jerking to a standing, spinning around and stomping out of the ring. I shove myself to a standing. I lightly rub my wrist. Hmm. He burned me a bit? I glance up at his retreating back. I let my hands drop to my sides, bouncing toward Ochaco, "Hey!" I greet her happily, and instantly Mina runs up to me,
"Did I see what I think I saw?!" she asks, practically jumping in excitement.
"Umm... what do you think you saw?" I ask, tilting my head slightly in confusion.
"You and Bakugou," she hisses quietly, her hands landing on my shoulders to shake me slightly. I stare at her for a moment,
"Yeah. We sparred, and I lost," I tell her simply, shrugging a bit. Mina groans as though I'm a moron.
"Come on, you know what I mean!" she shouts,
"Nope," I mumble, shrugging. She groans in annoyance again.
"He likes you, and you like him!" she hisses under her breath, glancing toward him with a smirk. I laugh in her face, smiling,
"That's sooo not a funny joke," I scold. She stares for a moment before latching onto my shoulders, shaking me.
"IT'S NOT A JOKE!" she shouts. Instantly every eye focuses on us. She completely ignores it, staring me down. I just stare back at her.
"Come on now. One last round," Aizawa mutters. Mina attaches to my arm, dragging me toward one of the farthest away rings.
"Okay, you have to tell me why you're stupidly saying he's not into you," she orders.
"Um, because he's obviously not," I mutter, rolling my eyes at her.
