Kol dating a human

Kol is not outstandingly happy or comfortable with the fact that his girlfriend is a human. He wishes that she could be safer, which is something that in his mind, a human can never be. To him, they're fragile and just so damageable, which are words that he does not like being associated with you.

         But there's no way he'd turn you into a vampire, not yet anyways, he says you're too young right now, that you have a lot more of life to experience first. But make no mistake, he's counting the days until he can because he wants nothing more than to be sure you're safe.

        He absolutely will not let you drink a lot, although he himself is a bit of a raging drunk, he doesn't want you to do something stupid or have to deal with the inevitable hangover. Regardless, if you do end up drinking he won't leave your side.

      He's never very sure what to buy you to eat so he'll just sort of get everything he sees. He hasn't had to deal with eating actual food in a thousand years so you have to help him a lot. He'll just get whatever you ask for though, because well, it's not like he can't afford it. 

     Kol does whatever he can to help you get ahead in life, whether it means compelling people to get you out of things you don't want to do, or sometimes if you ask him he can help you gain the confidence to do something you're scared to do.

     He'd do anything he can to keep you away from any danger or fights, especially around his family. And definitely not the Salvatores. He won't let you anywhere near them, ever.

     You have to calm him down when he gets mad, which is pretty often. He usually wants to punch something really, really hard but the second he sees you the anger immediately starts dissipating.

     He feels the need to teach you to defend yourself, which was something you thought was unnecessary considering he's with you 99% of the time. But you humor him regardless, and he gives you a whole bunch of information on different ways to kill people which went into way more detail than you would have preferred, but hey what can you do.
