I know I will still try.
I can't help it, but I cry.
Wings, like other things, are impossible to reach.
There's so much we learn, there's so much to teach.
I tell you I'm okay, but I'm dying inside.
I tried, but in the end, you still cried.
Maybe I can't touch the sky.
Maybe I can never fly.
No worries, my friends, I'll make sure you sore high.
Even when I'm left behind, I'll forever stay by your side.
Though these thoughts always keep me wide awake.
I'll still stay strong, for your sake.
I can't touch the sky, or ever fly.
But I'll make sure we never say goodbye.
