Fake Love

I'd hide all my pain just for this.
I'd hide the weakness just for you.
I wish love was perfect for us.
But I grew a withering flower, wishing it'd grow, but it wouldn't be true.
I can't go any farther, I'm so sick of this fake love.
I'm so sorry but it's fake love, crashing from above.
I wanna be a good man, just for you.
I wanna be your world, man.
Just for you.
But now I've lost all of me.
Who are you?
I love you so bad. Love you so bad.
Trying to fit in the lying mold.
This love is so mad. Love is so mad.
Acting as your doll has grown so old.
I can pretend that I'm happy, just for you.
I'll be the strongest, just for you.
But our love is that wilting flower.
The one flower that never grew.
I wish I had the power.
But it's a dream that'll never come true.
I ask why you're sad.

Is it that bad?
You still say, "Nothing's wrong. Nothing, no."
I can't ever seem to satisfy you anymore.
You say I'm not the same man as I was long ago.
I'm sorry that I've become such a bore.
But I haven't changed, it was you who shot your poisonous bow.
You still say it's love. What the heck is love? It's only fake love.

Always trying to fit in your imperfect mold.
