The silence was so loud and any little noises were quiet. I was leading the front, as always. Cross and Dream stood on my left and right. Blueberry and Genocide stood behind them. Finally, Sci and Lust stood in the back.
Sci, Lust, and Blue we're having their own conversations. How, you may ask, if there no sounds? Well, they often used sign language to communicate since I didn't really enjoy the noise. I understood sign language since I'm the one who taught them it. All of us know sign language.
I've never really been a person who liked the noise. It just, I dunno, irritates me? Let's just say it irritates my nonexistent ears. Noise has always been a problem since I was a child, I never liked them. However, it does come in handy. I have really good hearing so it's hard to whisper near me, even if you're far away.
I can already see the cherry blossom trees in the distance. I glance at Dream and click my fingers, gaining his attention. He tilts his head, showing he is listening. "What time is it?" I asked him. He looked up toward the sky for a minute before looking back down toward me "It's 7:20, sir." I nod my head and he stops paying attention.
It doesn't take long to reach school from my house, considering its more or less a five-minute walk to and from school. We walk in front of the school and I immediately hear very soft talking. I look around trying to find whose talking, even though I've strictly told all the students NOT to talk when I'm nearby.
I see a boy, talking to his female companion who immediately puts a finger to her mouth, trying to get him to stop talking. She looked panicked. Just what is he saying? The boy shuts up for a second, realizing that I was here. He bit his lip before mumbling something under his breath.
“They can't tell me what to do.”
Cross, Blueberry, Dream, and Genocide growled while Sci and I settled for a harsh glare at the boy. The boy seemed very confused at the response he had gotten. He looked new, maybe a week here? His eyes were wide, clearly alarmed. His female companion took a couple steps back, fearful.
We all slowly started walking toward him. A crowd had trapped the boy and the girl from walking any farther back. A little human that we all knew well, Frisk, pushed the boy toward us making him stumble and nearly fall to his feet. He too was now fearful like his female companion. I looked toward the girl, black hair and green eyes.
“Walk away, girl,” I commanded her and she nodded quickly before jogging, almost running, into the crowd. The boy looked toward where the girl once was, a short look of betrayal on his face. I clicked my fingers once and heard some shuffling behind me before I turned around, seeing my group —Sci, Genocide, Blueberry, Dream, and Cross— in a line, facing me.
My eyes looked at all of them before they scanned them again, landing on Blueberry. I walked up to him and bent down to his height before mumbling very softly "Your turn, Fruit." I moved away from Blueberry, standing slightly off to the back corner of the crowd. Everyone in my group, but Blueberry returned to their formation spots.
