A get on without Lynn for a two weeks. Sure, we still see each other in math class and Prep College but besides that, it's pretty much keeping distance from each other. She was still hanging out with the Try Guys fans while I instead sat with Grayson and her friends in their lunch table. I still felt a little sad about Lynn and how she would abandon our friendship for the Try Guys' information.
I knock on Keith's door and then instead of him, a man, sorta identical to him, opens the door. He was taller than Keith and ganglier.
"Yeah? Are you looking for Keith?", he asked.
"Grant O'Brien? (Authors note: Grant O'Brien is a CollegeHumor writer and is said to be like Keith)" I asked. I was just up to his waist, jeez was he tall.
"Hey, Grant, is that Ally?", Keith shouts across the living room.
"Yeah, it's Ally." I shout back.
Keith comes beside Grant exchanges looks with Grant.
"So, Ally this is Grant, Grant this is Ally. She's the next door neighbor." He points out to Grant my house. I take Grant hand and shook it, "Coffee?" He asks me.
"Just came by to drop by. Guess you're busy right?"
"Yep, shooting at my place for a sketch." Keith explains, "Better get going, kid, see ya."
"See you, guys.", the door shuts and I head in my house. Parents again fighting and I lock myself up in the room.
There wasn't much to do but maybe do something I haven't for a long time, watch some Try Guys. I go on my laptop and look through the videos.
_____
I remember the time I first saw the Try Guys. They were driving stoned, drunk, sleep deprived, and texting. I haven't laughed so hard in my life since FNAF jumpscare compilations became a thing. As I watched those videos, I would watch them while doing my homework.
Finding the Try Guys fan club was easy. I was always hanging around the math classroom, so when o noticed many kids coming inside, I was curious. At first I didn't know the password so they would make you apply and set you in your team and stuff. Paul and his 'congress' made the laws we have to abide by. I didn't really talked to anyone except Lynn. She was a shy kid. Later on, me and her became friends.
_____
I wasn't sure what happened. I was working on what to write for the big English project. Suddenly, I heard screaming coming outside. I went to peep throughout my window and it was hell- literally.
Kids, about older or around my age were crowding out Keith's house. They had picket signs and tiki torches (Okay, where did they get those?). Kids were chanting, "Keith, get out!" in unison. Some had blue bandannas, shirts, blue face paint and crap. I rush downstairs to see my mom and dad on the couch.
"Where the hell are you going?!", my dad demanded.
"Outside-real quick." I said.
I run out to the next door house and bump into a lady by accident. I quickly say sorry and kept running. The crowd was now climbing Keith's fence. They chanted in anger, "GO BACK WITH THE TRY GUYS!". I was confused, with this going on.
As I get up on Keith's porch, I see Keith, looking down at me with disgust. I felt funny. Weird funny, the funny that felt you know you're in deep trouble.
