"What do you mean?" Zak says with an obviously surprised expression on his face.
"First of all Zak, you are still married to Jenna-"
"Soon to be divorced" he cuts in.
"And we just found each other after 3 years, I'm sorry Zak, but last time we were- "
I paused to think for a second.
"well whatever we were, you were, for lack of a better word, a bipolar asshole"
He just sits there smiling at me leaving me completely confused.
"Why are you smiling" I ask.
"That's not me anymore babe. Yes. I was definitely a bipolar asshole" he says with air quotes.
"But I was just a kid, not to justify my actions. I'm a different man now and I'll do anything to get you back. You won't get rid of me this time" he grabs my hand and smiles at me.
I stutter a bit but can't manage to get anything out. I am honestly speechless right now. Who is this guy?
Wait. I'll answer that.
He's my baby's daddy. He is funny and handsome. Maybe not so smart but his looks make up for that.
He is the love of my life.
However, as much as I want to run into his arms I can't. I now have to think for myself and my daughter. He is her father but that won't keep him from hurting me again.
I need to build trust with Zak and this was going to take some time.
"Fine" I simply say, easily defeated.
Zak suddenly jumps up and says.
"Really?"
He puts his hand on my cheeks and gives me a shirt but sweet kiss on my lips.
"I was starting to doubt myself for a second" he says.
Then I hear his phone buzzing. He looks down on it and frowns.
"I gotta go" He says with all of the joy gone from his face.
"Is everything okay?" I ask.
"Everything's Fine Alaya. Don't worry about it" he says coldly.
"Alright whatever. Don't tell me" I start walking away when I feel him gently grab my arm.
"Don't be like that Alaya" he whispers into my head as he kisses it.
I look up to him with an angry look on my face.
"Don't be like what? Just go Zak. Do what you need to do" I say.
"I'll be back as soon as possible. I promise"
And with that he runs out of the house in a rush. As he slams the door I hear Olivia begin to cry.

Zak, I need you. It's an emergency! Please. I still love you.

What the hell? What did this bitch want? She says it's an emergency. I should go anyways.
I can't hide from her forever even though I would love to with my girls.
I know Alaya's mad that I didn't tell her what happened or who had texted me but I didn't want her to think I care about Jenna in that way. Even though Jenna is a bitch she's been somewhat a friend to me since high school.
