*Ryder's Castle*

"RYDER! RYDER! RYDERRRRR!"
"WHAT?!!?" Ryder responded. His uncle was so annoying. Sometimes Ryder wondered if there was a heart in that cold body.
"Get down here!"
"Fine"
Ryder walked down the hallway that lead to his Uncle's study. He had lived with he is Uncle as of five years ago. When he was ten, his parents had disappeared. His uncle had said it was a car accident, but he wasn't that gullible. He knew something had happened. Something big.
His uncle refused to talk about it and after a while, Ryder gave up.
"You will be going to Royal Academy, and the limo leaves tomorrow."
"Whatever," Ryder said. He was happy to be rid of his uncle.
Oh no! What about Stanley?
Stanley was Ryder's pet miniature elephant. He quickly looked up the school website, phew, they allowed pets. He wouldn't have gone if they didn't. He just had to keep him in the stables. Ryder walked to his room to start packing and almost tripped over his leather jacket on the floor. He grabbed his favorite backpack and started packing.

Ryder entered the dark and gloomy room. He couldn't wait to finally leave it behind, it was so dark. Kinda like his uncle's heart. He didn't need much, after all, he would be wearing a uniform most of the time. Just a few shirts, three pairs of jeans, sweatpants, his leather jacket, and essentials. As he was leaving, he grabbed a bag of Stanley's favorite chips from the kitchen. Time to finally leave this place, he thought while stepping into the limo. He felt comfort knowing that Stanley was in the elephant trailer, which he had specifically ordered for Stanley, behind him. Might as well take a nap, he thought, as he drifted off to sleep.
