Ashlyn's POV

It had been a couple weeks since the broken glass incident, and I wish I could say things were better. On the bright side, I was spending more and more time with Tony. He invited me to sleep over almost every night, and I even had my own drawer to store some of my clothes in.

On the downside, my phone was being blown up with texts from my dad, threatening that he'd find me, saying I'd be in a world of pain when he did, basically what anyone would expect from him.

I was sat on Tony's couch as of now, trying not to show emotion at the multiple threats he was sending me.

I know where you are.

I know where your friends are. I will hurt them if I have to.

Worthless rat, I'll find you! You're mine!

I sighed quietly and turned it on silent before turning back to Tony. "This movie is boring. Let's watch something more interesting, like Star Wars." I suggested. I had suggested this movie in the first place, thinking it looked interesting. Tony broke out into a smile and got up to change the movie while I looked back at my phone, reading the new texts from my dad.

I wish I had the guts to tell Tony, but I figured it couldn't be too big of a deal, he probably didn't actually know where we were. I was freaking out over nothing, so I didn't need them worrying, too. I sighed and decided to take Erin up on that girl's day, maybe it would take my mind off of this for a bit.

I put my phone back on vibrate and set up my plans with Erin before turning to Tony. "I'm going to shower, Erin's picking me up and we're going to the mall." I explained.

"Okay." Tony answered, turning to kiss me before letting me go. I tossed my phone on Tony's bed before picking out a cuter outfit than just Tony's shirt. I found one of my tank tops and a pair of shorts and set them aside as well before getting into the shower.

Tony's POV

I sat up after the movie was done, stretching and turning the tv off. Ashlyn was still in the shower, so I decided to go up and lay on my bed, maybe just rest my eyes. I got upstairs and heard vibrating. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. It wasn't my phone... The vibrating sounded again and I saw Ash's phone lighting up with texts.

I blinked a few times, stepping forward to see who was texting her.

From: Unknown number- I am your father!! You can't escape me, I own you!!!

I swear to god I won't give up until I've found you and your worthless friends!!

My eyes widened at seeing the threats. I dug further, seeing that he'd sent over 30 texts just today, and many more since the night he called. Oh god, why hadn't she told me? Just then, the door opened to reveal Ashlyn in just a towel.

"Oh, Tony, is the movie over?" She asked. I turned to her silently. "Tony, what's wrong? Why- oh..."

"Why didn't you tell me your dad's been harrassing you?" I asked.

"T-Tony, I'm so sorry... I just.. I don't know, I didn't want to bother you, I guess..." She mumbled, looking to the ground.

"Ash, promise me you'll tell me. We need to know. What if he'd found you through those texts somehow and taken you? We would have no idea." I explained, my voice barely above a whisper.

Ashlyn looked up, tears in her eyes. "I-I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, it's okay." I whispered, pulling her into my arms. "I just worry, that's all." I said, planting a kiss on top of her head. "We need to call Alan and Austin, alert them of what's been going on." I said. "I'll do that, you get ready for your mall day."
