I woke up, unaware that I wasn't at home or in my bed.

Then I remembered last night.

I let my eyes and brain wake up fully before I studied the room. It was a nice small comfortable room. The bed was up against the wall, directly opposite a board. There were two drawings pinned to it of a pretty woman. One of her in a suit kind of thing and the other was of her sleeping...was that me?

I got up to have a look, and sure enough, it was.

They were very beautiful drawings, better than I have ever seen.

There was a note by the door:

"To Ash,
I have to go out and get some stuff. I promise I will be back soon. It's 7am now, so I will aim to be back by 10.
Love Lily x"

What time was it now? I looked around the room for my phone, moving things just in case I had put it there. The first place I looked was under the pillow, and thank god it was there.

But there was also a bag. I don't remember having a bag. It probably belonged to Lily and she just forgot to put it away.

It was a fairly small bag. A pen maybe? A pencil for her drawings? I opened the bag to discover it was neither. In it was a razor. The same razor she was telling me about, how she uses it when she's upset.

I wanted to throw it away. Burn it. But it was Lily's and I had no right to do so. I let myself put it back under the pillow and turned on my phone. 13:24. She will definitely be home.

I headed towards the kitchen and the smell of chicken hit me. The kitchen came into view and there was three saucepans on the stove, a chopping board and a chicken in the oven. Was she cooking me a roast?

I made my way further in and she was crouching on the floor in front of a cupboard. I joined her, quietly getting down and wrapping my arms around her. She jumped, sending us both on the ground. Her head was on my stomach and we both started laughing.

"I thought you would never wake up Miss Witherfield."
"I never thought I would meet someone like you Miss Jackson."

She turned over and kissed me. It wasn't rough, but it was meaningful. This kiss was so much better than the other ones. My hands travelled up and down her back. Then there was a hissing sound.

"Shit! The carrots!"

We both quickly got up and I watched her run around the kitchen. She was so hot when she was flustered.

I sat down on the couch and turned on my phone. I took a picture of her in the kitchen and posted it with the caption "Gotta love Wednesday's".

I looked back at her and smiled.
