I sighed. They're talking about me again, don't they? I already got through that time and thought that it was over.
All those voices talking behind my back. Talking bad about me... The fact that they didn't want to accept how I was had gone to the point that I was seriously thinking if it's worth waiting for him or not.
Now again, talking bad about me. Spreading false rumors and information about me.
I walked home with those things on my mind. I arrived home and ate something. Then I prepared my bag for the taekwondo classes.
_At the taekwondo class_
Mr. Kim is my taekwondo coach. He gives me training since I was 14. He is also the only person I somehow talk with.
"Annyeonghaseyo." I said to him while bowing.
"Hello Minrae!" he said smiling.
_After 2 hours of training_
We finally finished for today. I don't know why but I felt really exhausted, more than usual.
"Minrae-ah, you kicked and punched harder than usual, is there something wrong?" Mr. Kim asked me.
"Nothing special, just some stress with school." I answered.
"Uhm, ok. You know, when you have any problems you can tell me, right?"
"Yes, I know. Thank you." Then I bowed to him. "Goodbye and see you tomorrow."
"Arraseo, take care of yourself." he said smiling.
Then I returned home and took a shower. I was bored so I went to Han River since it's my favorite place.
When I got there, I searched for the bibimbap shop I always go when I'm here.
I don't even have to say my order, the ahjumma already knows me.
"Thank you." I said when she put the bibimbap on my table.
I finished eating, paid and went out.
The Han River is like a relaxing zone for me. I've cleared many things when I was here and it helped me through many difficult situations.
I sat down at my usual bench and closed my eyes. *Breathe in, breathe out.*
I'm going to tell you something. The people in my school think that I'm really cold, that's why they don't come near me. But the thing is, they didn't even try to friend me or anything. They just see me and think 'She's so cold, I'm not going to talk someone like that.' and spread that also to the new students. I would like to talk to them and prove them wrong, but a part of me always says no. That's why I'm like this. I've trusted many people but in the end they just leave you without saying anything. Except for one...

-Flashback 3 years ago-
"Minrae..." He said while holding my hands.
His face wasn't as joyful and happy as usual. It was dark and serious and kind of sad.
"I'm really sorry..." he began. "but I have to leave you."
He was trying to hold his tears back. And me? I was already crying a river. How can he say this to me? Why?
"Please forgive me!" He couldn't hold his tears back anymore. "But I'll come back to you one day."
He hugged me tightly and I hugged him back.
"Please promise me that you'll wait for me, please."
"Yes, oppa." I said between sobs. "I'll wait for you."
"When I come back, I'll never ever leave you alone, arasseo?"
I nodded. He then gave me a kiss in my forehead.
-Flashback end-
His last words to me. It was like poison at that time, but now, it's the only thing that keeps me alive.
I felt a tear rolling down my cheek.
"Aishh, jinjja." I said to myself while wiping it off. "I seriously have to control myself better!"
Then I went home.
Jongup's P.O.V:
I was walking near Han River as I suddenly stopped. I saw a familiar person.
"Is that Minrae over there?" I said to myself. "Wait, is she crying or something? Is that a tear rolling down her face?"
I hid behind some trees.
"Aishh, jinjja. I have to seriously control myself better!" I heard her say.
"What is she talking about? Because of the tear?" I keep asking myself. "What is behind that? Did she just remember a memory or something?"
I think I can't sleep tonight because of her. I have to keep an eye on her.
