"Today's been a long day, I can't wait to see my bed!" I exclaimed as I hopped my way to home. Mom and Dad were cooking their usual lunches for their work, so I went up and sat on my bed. Before I knew it, I blacked out.

Tutoring ended early, yet it was so dark outside. Mom and dad couldnt pick me up today so I had to walk home. Im used to this area, the flickering street lights, the dark alleyways no one cares enter, the crosswalks with cars speeding across. Every day was the same. It's always the same. Nothing is different today, right?

I couldn't be more wrong. I passed by the corner store, humming my favorite melody, until my shoulder was grabbed and my mouth gagged. My eyes blind, I was brought to a whole new world. A world of dolls. Alive, dead, shattered, painted. A world where dozens of trillions of eyes seemed to stare at the void. The presence of me.

A familiar, yet unfamiliar being; a bear suit, walks up to me. I look into it's eyes, as it eats me whole, and I scream as an endless supply of darkness engulfs me.

I wake up in a room with security computers, some shaking, some unmoving. I shake my head and I focus. 'What was I doing here?' I thought. 'What happened to me?'

The room was empty, disregarding a fireplace, a telephone, and a mask. The lights flickered as if it was abandoned. But the sound of machinery refused to yield.

The phone rings.

Rrrrinnnnggg..
Rinngggggg..
It echoes.

I pick up the phone. "Hello?"

"Welcome to your death." I shook in horror at the voice of death itself across the line. "If you see them, if you see them, put on your mask. Day one, starts today."

The caller hanged up. I looked around. Everything seems normal, minus the flashing lights in the hallway next to this security room. I look around and find a controller for the security cameras.

'Them. Who's them?' I ask myself. I watch the security camera and scrolled throughout the hallways, stopping at a particular one. A truly horrifying one.

The bear suit was staring into the camera. The suit held the camera tight and I could see the voice of children within it's eyes. I tried to change the camera, but I could not. I moved the camera left and right, unable to do anything but stare at this creature. My body froze in shock.

My eyes would not open. My head would not turn. My body would not move. I felt, trapped. Trapped within my own delusions. I felt as if, as if I really had died in that dream. I could only feel the sensations of horror drift through me, and my childhood.
