I look up at Yedam and my eyes immediately fall to the floor. He reveals a book from behind his back, "We need to talk," he bluntly says. I'm so scared. This definitely means he read it. God, why did I have to be so stupid and bring the book to school. I'm mentally cursing myself out right now. "You there?" he asks, pulling me out of the thoughts in my head. "Ya," I respond with my head still glued to the floor as tears start to fall down. "Can we please talk?" He asks with sincerity in his voice. "I'd rather not," I respond as I pull the book out of his hands and attempt to run to the bathroom around the corner. But I can't, he caught ahold of my backpack. "Please let go of me," I say heart broken with tears. "Just hear me out," he pleads.
I hold the book close to my chest and I take a deep breath trying to calm down. I yanked my backpack out of his grasp and made a bee line to the bathroom. In doing so, I threw the book in the trash can around the corner. I shove open the door of the bathroom stall and throw my backpack to the ground. I lock myself in there and I pull out my phone opening up Abby and I's texts.
Y/N: Come to the bathroom by the lockers now.
Abby: What happened? I saw you weren't behind me, but I thought you just went back to your locker.
Y/N: I was right.
Abby: About what?
Y/N: Yedam took my book.
Abby: How are you sure?
Y/N: He wanted to talk to me about it, but I just took it from him and ran here.
Abby: Well you have it now right?
Y/N: No.
Abby: No, what do you mean no?
Y/N: I threw it out in the garbage.
Abby: Y/N! You can't just throw it out, that book means a lot to you.
Abby: Ughhh. Just wait, I'll be up there in a minute.
Y/N: Thnx.
I place my phone back in my pocket and rest my head on my hands. All I can think about now is what's gonna happen next. I don't want to leave this bathroom. Nothing good will happen once I leave here. I wait for what seems like an eternity for Abby to get here.

-Yedam's POV-
Why did Y/N run away? It's not like I'm gonna say anything bad. Although, I do see where I went wrong here. I read through her personal diary. In reality, I shouldn't have but I had to. I saw my name in it which pulled me into it like a magnet. I saw how much of her feelings she put into it and I felt that it was only right for me to tell her how I feel.
I never told Y/N why I stopped talking to her. I couldn't, but I'm gonna change that. It hurt when I had to lose my best friend that's always been by my side the whole time. I hurt her and now I'm suffering.
As I look up and saw her running away, I saw her throw the book into the garbage. I walk up to the trash can and reach in to pull the book out. I sit down with the book in my hands and my back against the wall in hopes that she'll come out, giving me the chance to talk to her. I start to play with the edges of the book. I open up to a random page. It's marked with last week's date.

Dear Yedammie,
I don't know how you're so confident in everything. You score the highest grades in the class, you're so nice to everyone, you have the brightest smile in the world. You're always so passionate in everything you do, not to mention, how charming you are as well. All these great things about you, yet, why did you leave? I miss you more and more everyday.
Love, Y/N

As I read the page, I started to blush. It's cute, she still uses the old nickname she had for me as kids. Is this really how she sees me? My heart stung with a bitter-sweet sensation. I closed the book as I saw someone walking up the halls. It was Y/N's best friend Abby. I wonder what she's doing here. She looks at me sitting on the floor as she walks past me and into the girl's bathroom.

-Your POV-
"Y/N, Yedam's waiting outside," Abby yells from outside the stall, out of breath from running up from lunch. "Tell him to leave me alone." "The only way this is gonna be solved is by you toughening up and having the guts to talk to him for once," she says in annoyance. "Wow, thanks for the encouragement," you respond with sarcasm. "I'm being serious. It doesn't look like he's ready to leave anytime soon." she says taunting you.
There's silence for a few minutes. Abby hears the sound of you unlocking the stall, as a bright smile appears on her face. "Do I really have to?" "If you want to get anywhere with him, then yes you do sweetie." "Fine." Abby starts to squeal. "Under one condition, that you can't leave my side." "Deal she says." Holding out her pinkie as Y/N grabs onto it tightly with her finger.
I walk out of the bathroom first, with Abby following behind me. I close my eyes and take a deep breath as I'm about to turn the corner to face Yedam. "Good luck," Abby whispers into my ear as I see her running away in the other direction. "Hey you lied, you sneak!" you shout louder than expected.
"Who lied?" you hear Yedam ask from beside you. "Oh, no one," you respond nonchalantly. You stare at each other and all you feel is tension between the two of you. You grow sad, as you never used to feel awkward with him before. You break the silence and say, "We can talk, if you still want to." "Great," he responds as a slight smile spreads across his face.
