Chapter 13. Found out

(Bruce's P.O.V)

The night Tabitha was visiting Sarah, was the same night I went with the League to look further into the monster investigation. There have been more bodies mysteriously appering and I have no doubt it was our culprit.

When I got back home, Tabitha was getting ready to leave and me and my boys went to the Batcave to discuss.

They showed me the security footage of what happened when I wasn't there. They skipped to the part Tabitha and Sarah were fighting. And then it happened. Sarah turned into the monster we've been trying to catch. All this time, it was right in front of us, and we didn't know.

I didn't know what to think or do. I just sat there in disbelief. My daughter is a monster. I went upstairs to go check on her. When I opened the door, she was gone.

(Sarah's P.O.V)

Me and Screech decided to blow off some steam after the whole Tabitha incedint. Forgetting that my brothers met Screech and quite possibly now know. I brushed it off.

Me and Screech found a place to settle and relax for a while. Away from the loud city. It was relaxing.

Sarah.

"Yes, Screech?"

When I told you about our children, there is something I forgot to mention. We're pregnant.

"Really!? That's great!" I shouted with glee. "Wait, does that mean we won't be crime fighting for a while?" I asked.

"How about never." A booming voice shouted. Screech took over my body and stood up ready to fight.

Then, Out of nowhere, emerged the Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin and Robin.

What do you want?

"We just want to know what you're doing, Sarah." Nightwing said with a stern voice.

I don't know what you're talking about.

"Yes. You do." Batman stepped forward and removed his cowl. It was Bruce. Screech and I had shocked looks.

Then, we surrendered and Screech opened their stomach revealing me. I gave my vigilante father a shy smile. "Hi."

"Sarah, why do you have a dangerous parasite on you?" Bruce narrowed his eyes at me.

PARASITE!? Screech yelled.

Everyone took a step back. I quickly calmed them down. "Guys, Screech isn't a parasite. They just need a host in order to survive. And They're my friend." Tim glared at me. "I have a hard time believing that thing is your friend, and it could kill you." Jason added to the conversation. "Aren't you even a little afraid of it."

I spoke in a defensive manner. "I have known Screech for a year and I know for a fact that they would NEVER harm me and I'm not afraid of them. Sure, Screech looks scary and eats criminals, but they are really nice. So I would think twice before judging someone that way."

After my statement, everyone was silent for a while. Until Dick spoke up. "Sarah, I can't speak for everyone else but I for one, understand that you're just looking out for your . . . friend. But please understand that we're just concerned for you."

"It's okay, you guys don't have to worry." I reassured them.

They then started asking questions about Screech which we both gladly answered. After that, I was sent home while everyone else went on patrol. Seemed fair.
