The Dangerous Fellows - The true Nightmare

Chapter One - Only Just the Beginning

Everything was fine, everything was put together like a puzzle. It fit so perfectly, the earliest memories I have of when the epidemic started, was when I was ten. I remember, I was doing homework at the kitchen table. Mom was cooking dinner, and Dad was watching the news.

I remember those exact words of what the man on the TV said, " Today is the official day, when scientists are experimenting the cure, of cancer... Scientists may believe the formula they have created, is the golden ticket, to prevent cancer, and cure it at the same time...".

I was happy, I was excited, I was hoping that the vaccine would cure my grandmother. But we had to wait, I waited, and waited, and waited. It had been three years, and nothing came back from the Science Labs. But strange behavior had been happening, animals would just attack people out of the blue.

Babies would die for no reasons, and people would black out from reality. Life would carry on normal, people lived normally. Until the next two years have passed. I was fifteen, and school was quite panicky today. Me and my best friend Judy, were just in class together.

Class was in session, then we hear banging on the classroom door. A student, who looked mindless like a zombie, was banging on the door. He finally hit so hard that he shattered the glass of the door window. He broke the glass with one fist, we all sreech with fear. The teacher tells us to calm down, and she lets the student in to give him a yelling.

She opens the door, and when the student comes, he attacks the teacher, chewing her flesh, blood everywhere. I saw a glimpse, of her blood dripping down and splattering all over the wall. The deep red color was horrifying.

The student stopped, and he looked toward the huddled bunch of students in the corner of the room. And the student starts dragging himself towards us. " shulck... shulck ". The noises were so clear, me and Judy were hugging each other, keeping each other safe.
