Chapter Five - Settling In

     I stand up from the chair, and I look around the room with my eyes. The guys are talking, sort of like in a huddle formation. I wait a bit, and I hear Eugene complain about me, " We can't just let random people into here! It's just not right... more people, attract more zombies...".

     I look firmly to the guys direction, " I can be useful ". I say to them. The guys stare at me, " then what can you do ", Eugene snaps at me. I swallow the spit leftover in my mouth. " I know how to use a first aid kit... I can stuff my bag with food....and I know how to defend myself from zombies...".

     Harry smiles and looks at the guys. Zion gives a big grin, and walks forward, " your that tough huh? Prove it to me ". Zion walks close to me, " Zion what are you doing?! You can't hit a girl!". Harry yells at Zion.

     , " don't worry, it won't hurt one bit ". He says with a smile, I stand there. Before he throws a punch, I punch his stomach. He gets knocked back a bit. He tries another blow, but I punch him in the face before he could make it.

     He spits out a bit of blood, " Wow! Think Your So tough Huh!", He charges at me. And at the moment, I kick him straight in the balls. He falls to the ground in tears, and all the guys react with a sympathy expression.

     I walk up to the group of guys, and leave Zion behind me. " So, I think I will be a use to the team...". The guys are impressed. Then I feel a arm rap around my neck, it starts strangling me, I can't breathe. Then I hear Zion whisper into my ear, " this is when I put the gun against your fragile head ".

     He puts his fingers into a gun shape and puts his finger gun up against my head, and pretends to shoot. I can't slip from his grip, he is too strong. " Pew! ", he makes a shooting noise with his mouth.

     He let's go of me and laughs, the other guys are not impressed, I fall to the ground and catch my breath. Then I look up at Zion.
