Deep within the depths of the Aedus Mountains lies a hidden temple accompanying the remaining survivors of the Magma Wolf kingdom. A few villagers along with their king and queen had been forced into hiding after the massacre that they had endured during the despute between the neighboring kingdoms. The cause of the pain came from the doubts and uncertainty of whether the Magma kingdom was becoming too powerful. The worrisome rumors began to spread between the other kingdoms and started to unleash an unseen rage towards the Magma kingdom. Then the time came. The other kingdoms had agreed to attack the Magma kingdom and kill every last man, woman, and child that had lived there. Though there plan was in motion, one of the members from the Fire clan got a hold of this information and warned the Magma kingdom immediately. The evacuation commenced but sacrifices had to be made, for the other kingdoms had shown up faster than expected and the slaughter began. Unfortunately they lost three quarters their people in the bloodshed, but the few that remained had managed to sneak out with their lives and their royalty. This horrific event was now know as the Smoldering Flames. The loss was great, and hope was low, but the king promised to avange their fallen brethren and reclaim their rightful title of the Magma kingdom. The villagers seemed excited for the time being, but as the months turned to years, the people's hope for betters days had turned into satisfaction for what they were given. Life for the kingdom was rough no doubt, but the steady pace of their daily activities kept them from focusing on the negatives of their lives and only to persevere for their families and the new generation that followed. The king, on the other hand, wasn't satisfied with what had become of his kingdom. His mind was set on plans of destruction and his heart was set on revenge. His wife, the queen, tried her best to take his mind off of things, however the screams of his now dead people haunted him in his sleep. The queen had one last attempt to calm her husband down. She suggested that it was time to think about the future of the kingdom and who was to run if after they have passed away. This grabbed the king's attention. He had mentioned that the remaining people wouldn't be capable of running a kingdom and that he needed someone with a fire in their heart. Someone who could take action and seek revenge on their enemies. The queen seemed annoyed, yet she ignored the last part of his suggestion. She then mentioned how they could create an heir to the the throne or maybe even a few that could be taught what the king wanted. The king seemed to like the idea and went along with it. And so was the first step in the king's new plot to destroy the other kingdoms.
