Haley's POV:

I walk into the house from the party. No, I don't drink. I just wanted to have fun, so I decided to go out. Today is the first day of junior year.

I know what you're thinking. I'm sixteen and going into 11th grade. I got moved up a grade because it was excelled in my grade. Good enough explanation for you?

I walk up the stairs, and stop by my sisters room to check on her. But she isn't there.

I soon head to my room to fall asleep in the piece and quietness I have tonight.

*next morning*

I wake up at 11:35, which is pretty late for me. I get out of bed, and expect my parents to be down stairs in the kitchen but they aren't. Maybe they're still asleep?

I walk back up to my sisters room, but she's still gone. Now, I'm kinda worried so I rush down to my parents room, and that's when everything goes bad.

Blood all over the walls.

My parents bodies dead and mangled.

My sister gone.

I fall onto my knees and cry, until I can't cry anymore.

I have to leave. I can't stay when there isn't anyone here for me.

I call my best friend, Katy. She doesn't live in Florida, but we're still best friends.

We met through youtube. I do tags, sing, ya know.

She only does tags, but she's still pretty popular.

I dial her phone number, and she picks up.

"Hello?"

"K-Katy." I whimper through the phone.

"Haley, what's wrong?"

"My p-parents. They're d-d-dead." I say, not believing any of the words that just came out of my mouth.

"Oh my god. What about lily?" She asks about my sister.

"She's gone." I cry even harder.

"You're living with me. I'm not letting you stay alone. You're the most mature sixteen year old I have ever met, but you can't." She says through the phone.

"Thank you so much. I'm on my way." I sob as the line goes dead.

"Flight 203 now boarding. Flight 203 now boarding." The flight attendant announces.

I grab all my belongings and enter the plane, leading me to my new life.

My new life in North Carolina.

IN THIS STORY, HAYES IS 16 AND HALEY IS 15! IT MAY NOT SEEM LIKE IT A LOT, BUT THEY ARE!!! JUST REMEMBER. LOL XXXXXX
