RP Part Three

P1: Miram opened her eyes in an instant, unrecognizing her surroundings. Her heart rate sped up greatly; she felt paralyzed. She turned her head to look at who was next to her when it suddenly came back to her memory of what had happened not long before. She breathed in deeply and exhaled, letting go of the anxiety.

She has just fallen asleep. It wasn't him she told herself in her head. It wasn't him. Noticing the beast of a man was still asleep, she tucks and rolled out of his hold to look outside. The sun was shining and the weather was decent. She breathed in the crisp air. It felt freeing. She dug her necklace out of hiding and held it in her hands as she looked outside.

P2:  A brief rustling of snow could be heard behind her, followed by his voice. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

P1:  She looked back and smiled softly. "I've missed the winter."

P2: "I mean...both are, as in...you and the, uh..weather..y'know?" He fumbled over his words awkwardly.

P1: She stared at him blankly for a few seconds before laughing loudly.
"Was that a compliment I just heard?"

P2:  "Maybe it was..." He muttered.

P1: She smiled and looked towards the weather once again. "Well thank you, regardless, beast boy."

P2: "Wait, beast boy?" He cocked an eyebrow at the nickname.

P1: She chuckled. "You've got beast blood in you. I don't know your name so, beast boy."

P2: "Haimirich."
"That's my name." He'd chuckle upon pondering the nickname 'beast boy'.

P1: "It's nice to finally meet you, Haimirich." She looked up at him. "My name is Miram."

P2: "Full name's Riccard Haimirich but that's irrelevant, Haimirich is fine." He'd return the smile as he looked back at her. "Nice to meet you as well, Miram."

P1: "I think I prefer beast boy."

P2: "I don't know, you seemed pretty scared before." He'd joke.

P1: "Oh shut it," she hit his side.
"At least you didn't talk as a beast."

P2: "Kind of can't."
"Different vocal cords an all."

P1: "If the sentence before was any indication, I'd say I agree." She teases him.

P2: "I think it's time for you to hush, I haven't a clue what you're talking about." He fought back a smile.

P1: She laughed
"Thank you, Riccard." She said quietly. "You've given me my freedom and managed to make me laugh in the same day." The use of his first name meant to communicate how serious she was about it.

P2: Haimirich let his gaze rest upon her as he spoke, hearing her words. "Whatever bastard locked you away in there...is sick."
"I've spent my fair share time in cages, and I am not about to let a lass such as yourself experience such if I can help it...

P1: She had a distant look in her eyes and a rueful smile. "I've spent most my life in that cage." She shook the thought away and stood up. "Regardless, thank you."

P2: "You are welcome...But allow me to thank you, as well."

P1: "I'm positive you could have survived it alone, beast boy." She smiled.
"But you are very welcome." She slapped his back.
