Who was he? {Chapter 1}

{Bella's P.O.V}

"Ready?" I spoke.

"More than ever!" Amy responded hopping in the car. All five of us, my friends Amy, Danielle, and Maria and my sister Madeline and I were on our way to the water park.

When we got their we piled out of my car and rushed to get in as soon as possible. We quickly got lockers and put our bags away.

"Let summer begin!" Danielle exclaimed running. We all ran after her choosing what to go on first. "Race to top of the water slide anyone?" Maria asked. We all exchanged glances and started racing up to the top in a matter of seconds.

Laughing we all splashed into the big pool at the bottom and trudged out of the water. "Lazy river?" Madeline said cautiously pointing to the long line. I shrugged, "eh i guess it's worth the wait". Everyone agreed.

We waited in line for about fifteen minutes until we finally got on. We floated through in one big chain all holding hands so we couldn't loose each other. That didn't exactly work out. At the end we all met up laughing at our failed attempt to stay together.

We spent the rest of the day there kicking off the start of summer. "I'm exhausted, anyone else?" I asked. Everyone nodded. Before piling back into the car we grabbed our stuff from the lockers and with that, we went to out to eat. "Perfect way to start off the summer" Maria said. Everyone agreed.

{One Month Later}

The sound of my alarm from my phone woke me up. Checking it I saw, nothing but twitter notifications and a couple text messages from my sister and mother. I walked downstairs and ate the waffles Madeline left out on the table for me.

After, I showered and got ready and texted Maria, Amy, and Danielle via our group chat but no response still after about ten minutes. They always normally have their phone on them. I ignored it though and got Madeline's attention.

"Madeline!" I shouted from the top of the stairs. "Yea?" She came upstairs. "What's on the agenda for today?" I asked fixing my hair. "Nothing that I know of. What are the girls doing?" She checked her phone as if there was a notification awaiting her attention. I shrugged.

Madeline went to go get ready and I checked my phone again. Nothing. In the beginning of the summer all we did was hangout. The first day we went to the water park, then out to eat, then the next day the movies. We went roller skating and hung out here at the pool. We did everything, I don't know what happened, it's like we all just stopped talking. I hate thinking about it.

I grabbed my phone and set out to go to the nearby park and sit near the lake. I walked about a block and was almost there when I bumped into somebody, the klutz that I am.

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry" I said not making eye contact picking up my phone from the ground and wiping it off with the palm of my hand. "Haha it's no big deal" he said looking down at me. He was about a head taller than me. I still didn't make eye contact as I gave a shy smile and walked away briskly. I could feel him watching me walk away. Who was he? Why was his voice familiar?
