 ^A FEW DAYS LATER^

For the past few days you have been hanging out with Jaemin from NCT, who you have known since this year. He became a friend of yours pretty quickly. You both talk to each other here and there but no one has noticed you two being friends other than Jaemin's friends. Yuqi went to Busan on her trip you were supposed to go on with her, her friends, and some more of your friends, but you forgot to get the plane tickets in advance and there ended not being enough rooms booked for you to stay with them, so you stayed in Seoul.

^NIGHT TIME^

As you finish your shower and get dressed you get a message from someone.

NaNa

-Jungwoo Hyung is having a party with some people from school tomorrow. Im inviting you to come so please come.

-I'd love to but im busy :(

-Liar. You told me you have nothing planned for the whole week since Yuqi is gone

-Fine. I'll go. Do i need to wear anything specific?

-Nope. Just wear normal clothing that you would wear to school or on the street.

-Ok. Bye

-Bye.

You finish texting Jaemin and get another message

W-Jungwoo is having a party tomorrow. Lets go~

Y/N: A party. Great. No Yuqi. Amazing. No Hyunjin. Even better. UGHHHHHHH. I still can't even talk to him. Thank you sooo much for this. (You toss your phone on your bed and go to the living room) I'll just work on homework so i don't have to worry about it tomorrow.

You do the rest of your homework and end up falling asleep.

^THE NEXT DAY^

You get ready for school and have a regular school day so far until Lua approached you again.

Lua: Y/N!

Y/N: Hi.

Lua: Can you help me?

Y/N: Sure. What for?

Lua: Become popular for just a day?

Y/N: Uh. No.

Lua: Please? I'm tired of being treated unfairly from others. Please? If you become popular then everything will be normal. No crowds. Everyone is just the same.

Y/N: You know that i don't like being popular.

Lua: But you always hang out with the popular people? Please just one day?

Y/N: I'll do something else that doesn't involve me becoming a popular.

Lua: THANK YOU~~ (She hugs you)

Y/N: Oh. (You both stop hugging) I think popular people aren't a thing anymore. Look everyone is not in crowds after Minho.

Lua: Maybe you worked it all out already by changing your style for a week. Everyone seems so less excited.

Y/N: Yeah. I'm going to head to class.

Lua: OK. We are friends though, right?

Y/N: Why wouldn't we be.

^THE NEXT DAY^

Y/N: OK party. I'll just wear this outfit.

You wear a graphic black T-shirt tucked into black ripped jeans with a small chain belt and black and white shoes.

Y/N: Good enough.

You walk to NCT's dorm a few blocks away.

Jaemin: You made it.

Y/N: Why wouldn't I.

Jaemin: I'm going to be hanging out with some other friends but feel free to do whatever you want.

Y/N: Yeah.

You sit down and don't really talk with anyone.

Lua: Y/N?

Y/N: Lua?

Lua: Who picked this for you?

Y/N: I don't know but i think i did? Who knew my style would develop and change this quickly?

Lua: Its cute and different. When did you start hanging out with Jaemin?

Y/N: A day before Yuqi left to Busan. Did Hyunjin come?

Lua: He said he couldn't since he had something else to do. But his members are here.

Y/N: Oh.

Lua: Speaking of Hyunjin. Isn't today the day you two can finally talk to each other?

Y/N: Yeah. That's why i wanted him to be here.

Lua: He said he can't really do anything for the next few days because he has something to do. I haven't been able to talk to him until lunch today which was only for 2 minutes.

Y/N: He must be really busy then.

^A FEW MOMENTS LATER^

You hang out at the party and have a good time until..

Nancy: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Ugh. I'm good. (You get up to leave and a few girls block your way so you sit back down) What do you want?

Nancy: Look i know that we got off on the wrong start.

Y/N: Yeah, and i'm glad it started like that.

Nancy: So where's Hyunjin?

Y/N: I don't know.

Nancy: Here i'll get you a drink.

Y/N: I'm good. Lu-

Nancy: No. Don't worry about it. After all i did the other day i'll get you a drink. Here. (She hands you a cup of what seems to look like juice) Try it.

Y/N: I'm not thirsty.

Nancy: Come on.

Y/N: I'll have some later. Lua-

Nancy: You don't want any bugs getting into your drink dont you?

Y/N: Fine. I'll have some. (You take a big gulp of the drink and become a bit drowsy) Ew. What is this?

Nancy: Stay away from Hyunjin and his friends. Drink up.

Y/N: You-(She leaves)
