Thank you all for staying with me and reading my amateur work, "Blue Gold."
I started this story as a means of easing myself back into writing, which at that point I hadn't done in almost a year.
I was greatly influenced by at that time my studies of Vietnamese history, (I'm a general world history nerd) and fell in love with the story of Mỵ Châu andZhong Shi, which I highly recommend you look up.
Hence, I modelled the story on it.
I honestly put a lot of thought and world-building craft into this story but as with all things in my life it seems, my motivation waned quickly.
I'm dropping this story since I'm being honest that I know I won't go about finishing it and I'm working on other projects and stories at the moment.
