How we met.

Mia's POV

So this is a story about how me and Alli met. We met on an app called roblox (don't bully me like tia does.) and we just.. clicked, we became friends almost instantly and now we're inseparable, I wouldn't swap her for the whole universe. She means the world to me, to have her.. knowing she's my best friend. (She's described as Simla in my last book if you wanna know what she's like etc etc.)

Alli can be okay if you don't know her. But if you get to know her, she's one of the best people you can meet.

***********6 years later**********

Me and Alli met a few years back.. we planned our future back then too, and somehow it became reality.. 3 years ago we were sat in Starbucks taking selfies and acting crazy because we were so hyped up about meeting for the first time.. and now.. now here we were. Stood in front of our new house.. we purposely bought the one that looked like the house we had once spent hours furnishing on roblox.

It was perfect.. this moment was perfect.. two best friends.. standing in front of the house that they had always dreamed to live in.. together. I wished this moment could last forever..

"CANNONBALLLLLLL" someone yelled, running past us as they ruined the moment - probably not on purpose, but they ruined the best friend excited kinda vibe that was going on before he interrupted.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Alli giving Lucas one of the dirtiest looks I'd ever seen her give anyone.. ever..

"Er.. I'm just.. gonna go inside now" I slowly said.. taking my time between each word.

"Okey dokey Mia, I'll see ya upstairs when I take my stuff up" Alli replied still sending daggers over Lucas' way.

"HEY DONT LEAVE ME WITH THESE TWO" Josh yelled, following me inside, running to the kitchen - probably to find the chocolate milk.

As we walked inside, I could faintly hear Alli say, "rude much." Probably directed at Josh. I wasn't surprised at the fact that she said that because it sounds a lot like something she'd say.

I grabbed a few boxes and started carrying them to the third floor, where mine and Alli's rooms were located. Lucas and Josh had the whole second floor to their selves, with 2 spare rooms.

We only had one spare room on the top floor but there were 2 bedrooms downstairs with a game room and a cinema room too.

My mouth dropped in awe as I walked into the newly decorated bedroom that was to be mine from now on..

"Woah.." I whispered to myself as I looked around, placing the boxes on the floor..

"Big woah.." A voice rang out behind me, startling me for a short few seconds. Turning around and noticing it was Alli, I hugged her (probably squeezing the life out of her but that was okay), both of us squealing, feeling hyped up at the fact that we had both achieved our dream of living together.. Making this our new lifestyle..

Living here was a lot different to living in England.. I mean..

In New York, there were so many people around all the time.

However, where I used to live, it wasn't too crowded. If you went to town, there were about two or three hundred people in the area you were in.

But here, there must be thousands - not that I'm willing to count them all one by one. I'll leave that to someone who has no life - New York was packed with people.

In Britain, you drive on the left hand side and the drivers seat was on the right hand side.

But in America, they do it the complete opposite and drive on the right hand side, with the drivers seat on the left hand side instead.

In America, you can get your driving license when you're 16 or over (sounds pretty cool to me.. don't trust me in a car at 16.. pls..😎)

Whereas in England, you have to be 17 or over to take your driving test. (That's pretty dead tbh.. like.. that's AGESSS away :) )

"OMG MIAAA LOOK!!" Alli said dragging me to the window, snapping me out of my thoughts.

She pointed at the house next to ours, waving her arm at it like the mad woman she is.

"MIA WE HAVE NEIGHBOURSSS"

"Well no shit.." I mumbled under my breath.. hoping she didn't hear.

"Well excuse you.." she said.. I couldn't tell whether she was annoyed or not.. probably not.

"CMON CMON CMOOOOONNNNNNN" she started, dragging me by my arm.

"Alli.. you know because I'm so lazy, can we like- " she cut me off before I could even finish my sentence.

"No Mia.. there's also a thing called getting your lazy ass off the floor and coming with me to see our new neighboursssss" she said, screaming the last part in excitement.

"Ughhhhhh."

"Pleeeaaaasseeeee." She smiled at me with that one smile that can persuade most people to do anything..

"Fine."

"YAY"  she shouted.. a little too loud for my liking..

"Some of us have ears you know.." I reminded her.. because with all this screaming, she'd clearly forgot.

We ran downstairs and out the door as fast as we could.. only going fast because Alli was going fast and I was trying to keep up with her.

If it was my choice, I'd be laying on my bed with a bag of popcorn, binge watching Netflix.

That sounds good to me.

But no.

I have to go see the neighbours.

As we got closer to the almost identical house next door to ours, we saw two boys walking out..

I swear I noticed them from somewhere, Alli clearly did.

One minute we were walking up to their house.

The next, Alli was full on sprinting to them screaming "ANDREWWWW!! DARREEENNNN!! WILLLLLLL!!"

So that's where I knew them from..

I decided to join in.

"BESTFRIENDDDD!! WILLLLLLLL!! DREWWWW!!"

As we finally reached them, we were out of breath from running so much.
