A/N:
Hey everybody hope you like this update. I've been working on a romance book along with this one and it's taking a lot of time out of my life.
Oh wait, just kidding I have no life so I will keep up with my books as long as I have people reading them.

Death is a door many choose to open.
While Life is a doorway.
No way not to open it. Just maybe a way to break free from its grasp.
Plenty people find the secret door to freedom to early.
Instead of waiting for the door to find them.
Could you guess which door is overlooked more?
Life or Death?
Or is there perhaps another door yet to be discovered?

Eleven Years Later
Allissa's POV:
Lizy was in her normal spot. Hunched over on a huge cliff overlooking a crystal clear waterfall.
"Hey! Lizy?" I whispered hoping she could hear my low hississes.
Of course her head snapped up upon my words. How could I doubt her crazy hearing skills.
With one swift movement she bounced up in a standing position. Her ebony curls swirled in her face before sliding back beside her shoulders.
"Bestie!" She squealed with joy. Her face lighting up the entire woods. With a smile plastered across her face she slide up to me with her brows scrunched together.
"Why were you whispering? We're in the woods for gods sake! Shouting is all the animals and plants do." Leave it up to Lizy to put it like she was a plant that grew in the woods.
Ever since she was a kid, Lizy was always drawn to the woods and the things in it.
Yet, as she grew so did her connection to the woods. There was even sometimes were I would catch her with a crowd of animals as though she was mother nature herself.
"I'm sorry, but I just get super parinord that your Dad is around here somewhere. You do remember when we were kids, right. Your Dad almost shot me with that gun of his." The memory slowly making me wanna hid under a rock somewhere for my safety.
"He was just trying to protect me! Dad's always been like that." She had said this somewhat nonchalantly and began to shrug off the conversation all together.
Looking around us seemed to calm us both down. The trees that held so much life, were slowly dwindling away as there leaves changed from green to yellow.
I looked over to my best friend who's eyes were closed as she took in calming breaths.
"Who are we waiting on?" I questioned lightly trying not to disturb her anymore than I already had.
"Richard." She responded all to fast for comfort.
Before I could launch into a very descriptive argument as to why he should not be here at our safe haven, his voice poisoned my mind.
"Yep, I'm here sorry for the long wait." He walked on to the cliff with that stupid smug look on his face.
His blond hair tossled disobently in the wind. His blue eyes exchanged looks between the two of us. He was sporting a black ACDC t-shirt, along with boot cut jeans that hid most of his black dock Martin's.
"For starters, could you kindly wipe that stupid look off your ugly ass face!" Was all I could say to keep my mind working properly.
"Oh come on Allissa, you know I would never make you spend time with your crush without a good reason." She had said this all too fast for me to respond correctly. Of course this didn't stop Richard from responding.
"Wait . . . Back up! Allissa likes me!? I couldn't seem to tell through that asshole act all the time." He laughed mockingly. The only thing I could do was glare my ass off at my crush and best friend.
Sighing I knew that if I didn't ask the obvious question, no one would.
"Would you like to explain why you dragged him and asked me here?"
"We had to get out of the village today."
"So very descriptive! Tell us why please." I was beginning to get aggravated.
"I don't know why. Dad told me to get out of the village for five hours. So what do you two love birds wanna do while we wait?"
As soon as she had finished her statement something caught our eyes.
Smoke billowed over the lush green canopy in the distance of the village.
Lizy's eyes widened with shock as she began screaming. Without warning me or Richard, Lizy jumped into the waterfall.
With a loud gasp Lizy serviced several feet away from where she had plunged and began waddling to shore.
Richard and I both shared a glance before we ran down the hill at our speed. To say the least, trying to catch up with Lizy as several animals trailed behind her was far to difficult, so the only thing we could do was tag several feet behind. This was due to our fears of getting crushed.
By the time we had caught up to Lizy we had arrived at the village. Or at least what was left of it. Without thinking, I ditched Lizy in search of my family.
Ash surrounded me as I arrived where my house used to stand. Only a pile of rubble greeted me. No mother with her hands on her hips. No father with a cup of coffee in his hands and a tired look plastered on his face. No siblings running up pestering me.
Rain poured down on the ground. Soaking my hair and clothes. Large puddles began to form as the rain smothered out the last remaining flames. This small action felt as though Mother Nature was begging for our forgiveness.
