Life is like a ladder.
You start at the bottom and try to reach the top.
Wishes are like an escalator.
They rise to the top, but when you get there, you realize there's only so far you can go.
Hope is like concrete steps on a rainy day.
You start to trudge your way to the top, but one slip, and you're beaten and bruised, and lying at the bottom.
Love is like an elevator.
It flies to the top, but one wrong button, you'll sail back to the bottom.
I guess it's best to stay on the ground then, isn't it?
