"Ahhh. I'm booorrreeedd!" I whined. Hisoka glanced over.

"They still haven't come out." He said. I glared at him. He knew i was trying to avoid that subject. "I know." I replied. There was only an hour left on the clock. "But I trust them. There's no way they'll give up, and I trust their abilities. They'll be here." I said. Hisoka said nothing.

The hour was passing slowly. Everyone was getting anxious and excited for the next phase to begin. I took a count of everyone, assesing their skill and trying to determine if they would pass or not. There were some canditdates. Others seemed far too weak. Like those three brothers, or the guy with the big nose.

Anything to keep my mind off those who hadn't yet passed. I looked at the numbers of the applicants badges, trying to play a memory game or find a pattern between the numbers. Then I tryed to remember each applicants weapons or their eyes colors.

"One minute left"

Come on, Come on guys. You're really cutting it close. I was getting too anxious now. What if they were killed? In danger? Trapped in the tower forever? A door opened and I watched as killua, gon, and kurapika stepped through. I sighed a breath of relived. I walked over to them.

"Glad you made it. Cutting it close, aren't we?" I asked, smiling. The dor next to them opened, revealing leorio and a fat man. Tonpa I believe?

"Oh. I bet it was becuase of this guy, huh?" I said pointing at tonpa. "You bet it was!" Leorio shouted. Tonpa frowned. "Says the one who bet all our time away." Killua grumbled. I was slightly curious as to what went down inside the tower for them. Whatever it was sure ate up their time.

"The third phase of the exam has ended. 27 applicants have passed, including 1 deceased. Please proceed through the exit to reach the next phase."

I walked with Gon and the others through the narrow tunnel. I hoped the fourth phase would be more interesting. We stepped into the bright daylight, outside the tower.

"Congratulations on escaping the trick tower. After this there are only 2 more phases." A shorter man with a purple mohak and glasses said. "The 4th phase will be held on Zevil island, but before we start, I need all of you to draw lots." He snapped his fingers and another man wheeled A cart with a box on top in front of us.

"I'll ask you to please come up in the order you escaped the tower. Hisoka walked up first. He drew and walk back. I did the same as him, shufffling the cards around a bit before grabbing one. I walked back to my friends. Every took their cards and the box was removed.

"That card represents your target. Let me explain how this works. Your own tag is worth three points, your targets tag is also worth three points. Everyone else's tag is only worth one. To pass this phase you must have at least 6 points at the end. Now, please remove the sicker from your cards. Feel free to dispose of the cards, seeing as the box has already recorded the numbers you drew." He said. We all removed the stickers. My target was number 27. My lucky number. If memory served, it was a smaller male with auburn hair and yellow eyes. He had bandages all over his arms and typically had knife in his belt. I didn't know what his ability was though. I looked at him. He looked right back at me.

I felt a hug on my coat. I looked over and saw gon. "Hey, I've been wondering something. Why don't you ever put your hood down?" He asked. I was surprised. Surprised he hadn't already asked and surprised he wasn't pushy or rude about it.

"I suppose I only take it down for those I respect." I paused. "You know what, gon? If you can find me on zevil island, I'll put my hood down for you." I said. He grinned. "Same goes for you guys." I said, turning towards the other three.
