How you meet

You were walking around aimlessly, not exactly sure where you were heading, just going wherever life took you. You happened upon a circus, in the centre of town, and out of curiosity, you decided to wander in. You weren't aware that you weren't supposed to be here, or perhaps you were and just decided to proceed anyway.

You turned a corner around one of the tents when suddenly a snake shot out in front of you, causing you to jump backwards. "Gah!"

"You shouldn't be here, says Emily." A voice stated from beside you.

"What the-" You yelled, turning to face the person the voice belonged to.

"Sorry for startling you, Yes Wordsworth's right."

You stared at him, confused. 

"Who's Wordsworth? And Emily?"

"Why that's me of course! Says Emily." He explained as one of the snakes that were surrounding him moved it's head towards you.

"And me! Says Wordsworth." He said once again, as another snake did the same thing.

"So you talk through your snakes?" You inquired.

He nodded.

Becoming friends

You once again walked to the circus, Wanting to speak with the man from before. You smiled when you saw him, happy to see the man. You ran over to him, grinning. "Hello again!"

"It's you, Hello! Says Keats." He says with a smile as one of his snakes moves it's head towards you.

You smiled and petted the snake's head. "They're adorable!"

The man looked at you, shocked, before smiling. "You really think so, asks Keats."

"Yeah!" You laugh.

You hang around with him for the rest of the day, fascinated by the snakes.

When it came time for you to leave, you smiled at him and stood. "I never did catch your name, mister."

"He's called Snake, Says Emily."

"Well, Snake, my names (Y/N)! Let's be friends!" You exclaimed, holding out your hand for him to shake. He shook it and smiled.

Realisation (His POV)

'I don't know what's going on. I feel so happy around that girl. My face always seems to feel warm as well. This is so strange. Perhaps I should ask one of the others.'

I walk over to beast and doll, wondering if they know what's wrong. "Hello Beast, Doll, Says Oscar."

"What's wrong Snake?" Doll asks.

'Is it that obvious?'

"There's this girl, says Emily."

"Ooooohh." Beast smirked.

"How do you feel around this girl?" Doll asked.

"Well, his face always feels warm and he says he's happier than ever when she's around, Says Oscar."

"OH MY GOSH! YOU LOVE HER!" The two girls yelled at the same time.

Confession

You sat on a bench beside Snake. He seemed nervous. You glanced over at him. "Snake, is something wrong?"

"No, I'm fine." He muttered.

"Woaw! You're not talking through your snakes!" That's when you noticed none of his snakes were around. "Where are they anyway?"

Snake got to his feet and stood in front of you. "I...I uh... I-I like you, (Y/N). W-would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked, more nervous than ever. He reached his hand down to help you stand.

You grabbed it and pulled yourself to your feet, before pulling him into a hug. "I'd love to!"

He catches you singing

You never noticed snake at the door smirking as you sang.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around you. You could tell who it was, instantly and turned to face the owner of the arms. "Hello snake." You smiled.

"Hello" He whispered, kissing your forehead.
