(I am going to assume that the Reapings of each Hunger Games take place sometime in July and that the victor's tour takes place in January)

Amy

The invitation arrived around noon one day. Nobody quite knew what it was, so we opened it together. I cut open the envelope and unfolded the letter. In neat cursive it said,

"Dear Victors of the 84 Annual Hunger Games,

In light of recent events, we wish to invite you to be interviewed before all of Panem. The list of those invited is as follows:

Jackson Novo

Elijah Moon

May Evans

Amy Stirling

The four of you will be interviewed by Caesar Flickerman on Live Television. The train will arrive at noon on the 28th of December.

With Warm Regards,

President Coriolanus Snow."

"Warm regards. Right" Snorted Jake. I noticed how they weren't quite inviting us. They were more like forcing us to come.

"I guess we have no choice" mumbled Elijah. Jake sighed.

"I guess we should start packing." May nodded and said,

"And maybe we should renew our wills"

"Yeah..." I said quietly.

"Well, the trains going to be here in two days. We still have some time" Jake let out a dry laugh with no humor behind it.

"Yeah. That gives us two days to get our affairs in order"

"Well, we can't just assume that they're going to kill us. After all, everyone knows we're alive. And, if they wanted to kill us, they wouldn't invite May and Elijah" Jake nodded.

"You're right..."

"So why do they want to interview us? Why now?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Asked May.

"Huh?"

"They wanted to wait until your wounds healed and your scars faded. They don't want people to see what they did to you two."

The memories rushed back and I screamed. I suddenly felt someone's hand in mine. Jake squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"It's okay. You're out of there. You're not going to be tortured again."

"How do you know?" I sobbed.

"Because I won't let them torture you again. I will do anything to stop them from taking you away"

A few minutes passed before I stopped crying. Jake said quietly,

"Well... I guess we should pack our bags. We're going back to the Capitol"
