The evening was just like all the other times all of the band members met up. A couple drunks, some food, planning, and a couple laughs to rap up the night. And like always, when everyone was retiring home, Kyle would offer to walk Rhea back to her car. This time, however, Rhea offered an idea to walk around in the moonlit night.

As they walked through the many businesses, it was so unnerving, to say the least. Rhea knew that she had to break the news tonight, but she didn't know that Kyle too had something to get off his chest. They suddenly made eye contact as their hands found each other's and intertwined. "Why did we ever hate each other?" He questioned, giving her hand a small squeeze at the bitter memories. Rhea let out a small giggle as she thought about the answer Kyle was looking for.

"I never actually.....hated you per se." The words had been on her mind since she discovered the crush she had on him in middle school. She looked into his eyes for a sign of anything. All she could see was his amusement. As hard as he tried, Kyle could not stop the tempting laugh that threatened to escape his lips. "I was right! We all were right!" Upon hearing this, Rhea thought about their interactions to find the meaning of his words.

She could now understand what he meant and instantly became fuming. "Say it, say you had a crush on me." He challenged, finding her face to be somewhat more adorable when angered. "I didn't know if I did or didn't for most of the time that I knew you! And when I did figure it out, it wasn't any of your friend's business to know anyway!" To make her point, she had gotten incredibly close to him now. As she tried to push an accusing finger to his chest, it surprised her to find it held in the air. "W-what are you doing?" She asked, barely a whisper. Without giving an answer, he pulled her into him with his other hand; connecting their lips in a soft yet demanding kiss.

She had no words in her mind at that moment. It felt so perfect to have him with her, now after so long of being apart and angry. She lost all feeling in her body as she wrapped her arm around his neck. Not wanting to stop, but needing air, they both pulled away and looked at each other; their foreheads pressing as they regained their breath. At the sudden thought of one person, she pushed Kyle away and started to run back to the street of her car.

"Rhea!" Kyle called out, trying his hardest to get to her. Since he was somewhat taller than her, he used that to his advantage and grabbed a hold of her wrist. The tears then began to fall from her cheeks seeing Kyle using all his might to stop her. "Rhea, please, talk to me." His bewildered and saddened voice spoke to her. The words barely made it into her mind as she tried to pry her hand out of his grasp. Getting tired of her fighting, Kyle found the nearest wall and pinned her against it. A small gasp escaped from her mouth, knowing that she wasn't going to be able to run away without a fight.

"What's wrong?" He questioned her, fearing that she was closing herself off from him. "You don't want this, I can't want this." She blurted out, knowing that her not answering was becoming a bit of an annoyance to him. "Why would you say that? What aren't you telling me?"

"I don't want you to find out from someone else." She answered with the tears now flowing freely down her face.

"Find out what?!" His patience was out the window by now, he thought about all the possible things she could mean. She was pregnant? She had a whole family waiting at home for her? None of it seemed like the Rhea he knew. Not his Rhea. As for the girl of his thoughts, she wanted desperately to run back into her home and cry herself to sleep. This was all too much; too fast and way too soon. She knew the one thing that would get him to back off, telling him the truth. She took a quick breath before letting the painful words slip from her mouth. "I'm engaged!"
