Recap:
"Kids we have something important to tell you guys." I started. "You guys have a sister..." Mark and I started. "And she happens to be Rydel's twin sister...." We said. All of the kids eyes widened and all their jaws dropped.
Rydel's POV
I can't believe Marybella is my twin sister. "Mom, Dad are you being serious right now?!?!" I said completely shocked. "Yes Rydel we are you have a twin sister." My parents replied. "OMG and she doesn't even know?" I asked. "No, she doesn't we wanted it to be a secret until we were ready. We didn't think we would ever see her again when we put her up for adoption." My mom said. I was so stunned and I was really scared to tell Marybella because what if she doesn't believe me.
Riker's POV (new POV...oh risky...jk)
I can't believe I have another baby sister and how did I not remember. I feel like such a horrible big brother because I forgot Rydel has a twin. Granted I was only 1 or 2 years-old at the time but still I feel so bad that my parents had to put her up for adoption. I had to ask why. "Mom, dad may I ask you guys a question?" I asked. "Riker if it's about why we put her up for adoption then we might as well explain." My parents responded. "Okay then will you tell us." I asked encouraging them to go on.
Stormie's POV
"Okay, kids so we put Raylynn up for adoption because at the time we didn't think we could handle three kids under the age of 2. But as Riker and Rydel grew older and Rocky and Ross came into the picture we regretted giving Raylynn up for adoption." I said trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. My husband continued it for me.
Mark's POV (new POV...ahhhhh)
Seeing that Stormie was getting quite emotional I decided to continue. "We told Raylynn's adoptive parents to keep the adoption a secret. We did this because we wanted her to have a normal life and not have to wonder whether or not she would ever meet her biological family. But after seeing her again we regret making that decision." I said trying not to get emotional like my wife.
Rydel's POV
After my parents explained the adoption I was even more shocked than before. So I had to ask the dumbest question I had. Which was "So she doesn't know she's adopted?" The response was of course explained before but I still felt like I needed to ask it. "No Rydel she doesn't know she's adopted and she doesn't know she has siblings or that she's even a twin." My parents responded. "She thinks she's an only child because her adoptive parents were never able to conceive their own child. So when we put Raylynn up for adoption we were glad that she was going to a loving couple that would raise her as their own and to fulfill a dream of theirs to have a family." My parents responded continuing their reasoning to why they kept the adoption a secret. "Were you ever thinking about telling her that she's adopted?" I asked. "Well even though we've been in contact with her adoptive parents since the adoption to make sure she's alright. We didn't ask where they lived or any real personal information, so we didn't know they lived in California or that we'd ever see her again." My mom responded. "If we were to tell her it would be discussed privately with her adoptive parents and us." My dad continued. "Well will you contact her adoptive parents and ask for permission to tell her that she's adopted now that we know about her because I don't know if I'll be able to keep this a secret from her knowing this information." I asked. "We will think about this kids. But keep in mind it might not go as planned because she doesn't know she's adopted and we don't know if she'll take the news okay knowing that her adoptive parents have kept it a secret from her." My parents responded to my question. "Okay but will you guys please try because I don't want to have to pretend I don't know forever." I asked. "Okay we will see what we can do." My parents responded to my constent questioning.
Nobody's POV in particular
"Yay!" All the kids responded.
Let's just hope everything goes down okay....
