Chapter 2

Rydel's POV

"Morning Everyone!" I said as I walked into the kitchen to see my family eating breakfast.

"Morning Delly!" everyone replied. I sat down by Riker and ate my breakfast. "Rydel are you excited for school?" Riker asked me. "Yeah I just feel bad that one of my classmates gets bullied." I replied. "Rydel you are so kind-hearted and sweet. You make me such a proud mother." My mom said. "Thanks mom. Would it be okay if I invited her over after school to get to know her better?" I asked. "Sure honey. I would love to meet her." My mom replied. "Thanks see you guys later, I don't wanna be late for school." I said rushing out the door towards my car. I got in and drove to school hoping I would have time to talk to Marybella about coming over after school.

Marybella's POV

I got to school and looked at my schedule. While I was walking to my locker the most popular girl in school came up to me and pushed me into the lockers. "Whoops! My bad. I didn't see you there." Piper said. I kept my mouth shut because I knew if I tried it would just make matters worse. "What's wrong Marybella? Is someone too sad because she has no friends to help her?" Piper said. I was about to cry because I knew she was right. I had no one. I was alone. Just then Rydel came and started yelling at Piper. "Piper why are you such a bully?" Rydel yelled. I was so shocked she was standing up for me. "Why do you even care Rydel?" Piper replied. "Maybe because she happens to be my friend. Now why don't you do us a favor and leave her alone!" Rydel yelled back. "Whatever who cares about you Marybella you're such a loser and just cause Rydel's your friend doesn't mean you aren't!" Piper said walking away. "Are you okay?" Rydel asked me. "Yeah thanks. Thanks for being there for me Rydel." I said. "No problem. Hey you wanna come over to my house after school?" Rydel asked. "Sure I'd love to!" I said. I was so excited. I had a friend and she happened to be Rydel. Rydel and I both walked to our class and realized we had the same exact schedule. "Wow that's so weird. But completely awesome!" We said at the exact same time. "Wow how did we do that?" I asked shocked. "I don't know but it was kinda cool." Rydel replied. "I know I can't wait until school is over because I'm over it already!" I said. "Lol I totally agree. Let's get this over with." Rydel replied. And with that we walked into Math class. During Math class we found out that our teacher Mr.Jones was really cool. I couldn't wait to meet the rest of my teachers.

Skip to Lunch

Marybella's POV

"Wow our teachers are really cool and nice." I said pretty happy that this will probably be the best school year ever. "I know! And what tops everything off is that we have the exact same classes this year!" Rydel said. "So what are we going to do after school?" I asked quite curious. "Well I was thinking that we would go shopping then head to my house and you can meet my parents and 4 brothers." Rydel said. "Cool can't wait!" I said. Then the bell rang and we went to the last class of the day which happened to be Music class.

After Music Class

Rydel's POV

"Hey you ready to go to the mall?" I asked Marybella. "Yeah let's get out of this hell hole!" She replied. "Lol okay let's go!" I said. With that we walked out to my car and headed to the mall. We went to Forever 21 and brought a lot of dresses, skirts, tops, pants, and shoes. Let's just say we shopped till we dropped! "Hey you ready to go?" Marybella asked. "Yeah let's go. I gotta warn you though my brothers can be kinda flirtatious." I said to Marybella. "Okay thanks for the warning." She replied. We headed to my house and I parked in the driveway where I always do. We walked into the house and we put our bags down by the door. "Mom are you home?" I called through the house. "Yeah, I'm in the kitchen!" Mom replied. "Hey come on Marybella, my mom really wants to meet you." I said to her. "Okay I can't wait to meet her." She replied. "Hey mom this is Marybella." I said. Mom turned around and her jaw dropped and her eyes widened. "Mom, are you okay?" I asked. "Raylynn?" Mom said.

Stormie's POV

I turned around when I heard Rydel introduce her friend Marybella. When I saw her my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. "Mom, are you okay?" Rydel asked. "Raylynn?" I said. "Hi Mrs. Lynch. I'm sorry I don't know who Raylynn is but my name is Marybella." Rydel's friend Marybella said. "Hi sweetheart. I'm sorry you just remind me of someone." I said trying to stop thinking that my daughter that my husband and I put up for adoption was standing in front of me again. "Mark!" I called for my husband. He came as fast as he could to the kitchen. "Yes honey." He said when he came into the kitchen. When he saw her he was as shocked as I was and said the same thing I did earlier. "Raylynn?" He said with his eyes widened. "Hi Mr. Lynch. Sorry but my name is Marybella." She said. "Mom, Dad are you guys okay?" Rydel asked.

Rydel's POV

"Mom, Dad are you guys okay?" I asked my parents. "Yeah, we are fine why don't you take Marybella to meet your brothers." They said. "Okay! Come on Marybella! They are probably in the living room playing video games." I said. "Okay!" She replied. And with that we walked out and headed towards the living room to see my 4 brothers yelling and screaming at each other while playing a game of Call of Duty. "Hey you guys cheated!" I heard Ross and Ryland yell at Rocky and Riker. "You guys act like such babies when you guys lose." They replied to my youngest brothers. "Guys. This is my friend Marybella." I said. "Hey!" They all said. "Hi guys!" Marybella said. "Marybella, that's Riker, Ross, Ryland, and Rocky." I said pointing to each of them. "Got it." She said. I smiled at her when she said that. "Hey you wanna go to my room and hang out." I asked her. "Sure, bye boys." Mary said. And with that we headed up stairs to my room. When we got to my room her eyes went wide. "You okay?" I questioned. "Yeah, it's just very pink!" She said. "Yeah sorry about that I just LOVE pink and I'm the only girl in my family besides my mom so we kinda went a little overboard." I said. "It's okay I get it." She replied. "So who's Raylynn? And why did your parents call me that?" Marybella asked. "I don't know I never heard that name until they called you that." I replied. "That's weird." She said. "I know. I'll ask them about Raylynn later. Cause I'm curious about who she is?" I said. "Cool let me know what you find out." She said. "Sure thing!" I replied. We talked and got to know each other better. Hours went by and Marybella said she had to head home for dinner. We said our goodbyes and see you laters. When Marybella left I kept wondering who Raylynn was.

Stormie's POV

"I can't believe it. Was that really her?" I asked my husband. "I don't know but it really looked like her." He replied. "I just can't believe that after all these years we finally got to see her again." I said. "Me neither. I never thought it would happen and she's friends with Rydel." He said. "I know. Mark, honey, I think it's time we told the kids about her." I said. "Yeah, your right. We've kept it from them for long enough." He replied agreeing with my idea. "Kids! Can you come to the living room please!" We yelled. With that we heard footsteps coming down the stairs and our 5 children sat down on the couches infront of us. "Kids we have something important to tell you guys." I started. "You guys have a sister..." Mark and I started. "And she happens to be Rydel's twin sister...." We said. All of the kids eyes widened and all their jaws dropped.
