Chapter 3: Initiation

{Janes point of view}

"The Cullen's, they've done something terrible." Aro and I were talking to a woman named Irina. She had honey blonde hair and golden eyes indicating she fed on animals, coward.
Aros head flung up with the word Cullen flowed off her tongue.
"What have they done?" He leaned forward.
"They've created an immortal child." She dropped her head. I️ personally have my doubts, yes some members of that clan have a almond for a brain despite being a vampire, but Carlisle is to careful.
"Master what if she's lying?" I️ look up and he smiled down at me.
I️ watched him as he ran to her and took her hand in his.
"She is telling the truth. They have an immortal child." He let go of her hand and looked at me and back at her."
"Thank you for informing us, the day before we go to get rid of this immortal child you speak of, you must return here." She nodded and left threw the doors.
"We must not inform Eva till the day of the execution."
"She has enough hate to finish the job."
"I know, but she mustn't know. We will attack in two months when the snow sticks to the ground in Forks." I nodded to my master. It's breaking dawn Eva will be back any minute now.

{Eva's point of view}

I walked back into the Volturi place just in time. I looked inside my backpack and pulled out my sketch book and camera and placed them on the vanity that sit in the far corner of my room. I put on a pair of black leggings, a black shirt that slightly ruffles, shoes, and my black Volturi cape.
I️ made my way to the main room where everyone was. It seemed as if everyone was trying to hide their thoughts from me. Everyone's minds were racing and dodging something. I️ just decided to flick off the power in my brain since I️ couldn't even think straight.
"You guys can quit now I️ shut it off." I️ rubbed my temples.
"Heh, sorry." Felix laughed.

{Bella's point of view}
It's been about a year since out accident with Rensesmee. Everything is back to normal.
I️ walked inside from picking up the mail from the post office. I️ started shuffling through the letters, making a separate pile for all of Jasper and Alice's mail. I️ picked one up the said it was for Eva, it was in Alice's handwriting. I️ sliced open the letter in a haste and read it.

Eva,
We miss you! Its been very hard without you and I️ hope you can forgive us.
But there's something you need to know and tell the others. The Volutri are coming for you all. They believe that your sister is an immortal child. You all have until the first snow sticks to the ground. That is when they will attack. Gather as many witness as you can, for it might become a blood bath and we will need all the people we can get.
We miss you sweetie and we hope Bella hasn't been hurting you. We're so sorry that this needed to be done. I️ know you already said you forgave us, but we think that we need to keep asking for it.

After a skipping line Jaspers handwriting appeared.

Darlin,
I️ miss you so much. With every second that goes by mine and Alice's heart breaks from being separated with you. I'm so sorry that we had to do this. I️ wish we could've brought you along. I️ didn't want to leave you in that Hell hole with the devil herself. I️ hope that Bella hasn't hurt you. I️ wish Alice could see your future. That would make our lives so much easier and not as full of fear. I️ hope you're still young when we return. I️ want to see my little girl again and I️ do not know if I️ could handle you already being 18 or older. We have had such little time in this world together, and I️ want to cherish every moment but due to the circumstances I️ have to accept that my little girl is growing up. The pain in my heart echos when I️ hear of Alice talk about you, and I️ can feel it in her too. Your mother is broken without you. Our hearts hold and undying love for you Eva. Nothing anyone says or has done will ever change that. We will see you soon baby girl, I️ promise. Well come back for you.

They actually love her, it seems that they love her more than any human parent loves their kids.
If my demon like state allowed me to cry, I️ would be. I️ miss Alice and Jasper so much. Alice was my best friend and I️ treated her so badly. Due to me, their child is now gone and no one knows where she's at.
The slight guilt in my chest disappeared when my sweet daughter came skipping into the room.
"Whatcha doing momma?" She looked over my shoulder at the letter.
"Eva?" She looked at me with excited eyes.
"Not quite." I️ muttered. "Come on we have to go tell everyone something."
I️ stood up from my chair and took her soft, little hand in mine. We walked from the kitchen to the living room where everyone was watching a college football game.
"What's wrong?" Edward appeared at my side.
"A letter from Jasper and Alice has arrived." Everyone's face turned to shock and Emmett turned off the tv.
"Who'd they send it too?"
"What's it say?"
"Where are they?"
Questions were being thrown at me left and right.
"They sent it to Eva." Everyones face went quickly to hurt.
"It also does not have a return address so I️ still don't know where they are." I️ sighed.
"What'd the letter say?" Esme asked.
"The Volturi is coming for us." I️ said quietly. Everyone gasped as the words flew off my tongue.
"What are they going to do to me momma?" My sweet daughter wrapped her little hands around my leg.
"We won't let them touch you Nessie." Emmett assured her with a small smirk.
"We need to split up, search the globe. We need to find as many willing vampires as we can."

{Eva's point of view}

It's been 2 months and were training nonstop. No one has told me why and whenever I️ have my telepathy turned in everyone's minds are racing at 100MPH until I️ turn it off. I️ have a bad feeling in my gut because they've always shared everything with me.

{Janes point of view}

Eva  just went out and we are discussing plans for the battle.
"We are going to tell her. Not who were up against, but that we were going to battle. That will make her gain more powers."
"I agree master." We're bringing all of our army. We do not know what will happen. One more day before we head off to Forks.
